I found it funny, and it reminded me of boys I was at school with (obviously a larger than life version, like most comedy). The key was that the boys making the sexist comments etc were the butt of the joke- we were not supposed to think they were something to aspire to. I have watched it with teen DS, and although we have laughed along together it's allowed us to have some good discussions about how sexism etc.
As a few pp mentioned though, the portrayal of female characters was not great. Not only are they rather 1 dimensional, but for some reason all the girls look and act far older than they are supposed to be. Especially in the films. In the first film they group of young women they end up hanging around with all look about 25 and seem very sensible and mature, yet we're supposed to believe that over the week 2 of them decide they want flings with slightly awkward, inexperienced sixth formers.
