Good Morning Everyone! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just about to finish my first cuppa of the day. The washer's on already, the load I put on a timer's ready to go out, & I've woken dd1 who has work - she had alarms set but must have gone back to sleep 🙄

Dd's just in the shower. It's a race day so she's working til the last race & will be knackered when she's finished.

I'm off to town with dd2 who needs some sort of trousers to wear. She has a pair of black flares she likes to wear allll the time but we can't find them 🤷‍♀️

I'll tidy round the kitchen, pop another wash on, and put away yesterday's washing before we head out. I might look for some work trousers too while we're out.

This evening, I'm off to a friends house for drinks & a catch up. She's doing roast chicken baguettes for tea & I'll probably pick up a couple of bottles of Koppaberg or similar to drink.

Not sure what they'll have here, probably something easy.

I'll be in for a brew & bed by ten 💤

Good Afternoon, all.
Glorious sunny day here. Library this morning and a little grocery top up shop, desperately seeking a magic eraser sponge, as used my last one yesterday, and cannot find any now.
Quick pasta lunch, and hauled out the sofa to do the skirting boards behind.
I need to do some cutting back in the garden, but my green bin is full. I am going to put it in a couple of trugs and hope we do not get a downpour!

Really strange night's sleep so I was a bit dazed in the morning, then met a friend for lunch and browsed around the charity shops on the way home.

There was a beautiful print of a black and white photo of a local fountain, the streams are completely iced up mid air. It looks magical, might go back and buy it.

Thanks @RabbitsRock. We go back and forth but just now he was lying by the open back door whimpering. He needed a wee bit could not get up. Really it's shocking - four weeks ago he had his annual check up and was slow but fine!

@RabbitsRock it is the white house cafe just off the A30 as you leave it to go to Okehampton from the Exeter direction. Doesn't look like anything much, it is next to the garage, but the steak and kidney pie is really good! It is so nice to find somewhere that actually cooks real food, for a change. There was a bit of a wait for our food today, they were pretty busy, but well worth it!
