I saw The Cure play The Forest in the mountains at Fuji Rock festival a few years ago - unforgettable! (But still not as good as Kate Bush )
Fuji Rock is a magical festival - hope you get to go one day

Ooh, I had no idea they played it, I haven’t kept an eye on the lineup because I didn’t imagine getting there.

It coincides with my 50th bday in 2025 so it’s a very strong possibility:)

Dream - tricky one, maybe to go back to the 80s to see The Smiths.

Last one was at a party in the park day with tribute bands. Majestix very good

Best one was a draw between Courtney Pine at Camp Bestival and Mystery Jets secret gig at an Oxfam Oxjam in Reading

One I wish I could've gone to is Bowie. Miffed I never got to see him.

Best: Leonard Cohen's first Royal Hospital Dublin concert.
Latest: Bruce Springsteen Kilkenny Summer'24 gig. He was great. ❤️

Going to see Ed Sheeran today in Larnaca. Best was Cold Play in Abu with rain, thunder and lightening. Worst was Simply Red, also in Abu. The guy is an insufferable prick. Loads of bands I would still like to see.

Last: The Wolfe Tones on their farewell tour earlier this year in London. Nostalgia for my childhood!

Best - Foos were pretty epic tbh but for old times sake INXS at Wembley back in the 80s - still remember Michael Hutchence coming on stage on a skateboard - I was 14 and thought he was the coolest thing ever.

back in the day also saw Wham the final, Queen at Wembley (1986) and Bowie on the Glass Spider tour at around the same time. More recently - don’t think I’ve been to anything post covid, need to get back into booking something.
Dream would be Leonard Cohen again, he was amazing.

Dream is to go back to INXS in 91, not sure I fully appreciated how amazing it was at the time!

Best 2 have been: Harry Styles in Cardiff and the Stereophonics in Cardiff castle in 1998

What about most looked forward to but disappointing gig? Mine would be Deep Purple on their last tour (postponed from pre-covid days) in 2022 (?). So looked for to it but it was so, so awful.
