How many times a day do you fart?

Lighthearted but also serious in the sense that I cannot fathom the sheer amount of LOUD botty burps I do.
my mother says I’ve always been a gassy baby but I must fart at least 20 big loud ones a day with little normal ones inbetween.
they aren’t slippery light ones, I’m talking dense lean on cheek to rid my body of this evil ones.
Is there anyone else out there like me? I don’t have any diagnosed allergies and I’ve been checked for celiac/ gluten nothing came back abnormal.
I feel like a lava lamp right now, like my farts accumulate into giant wax bubbles and if I don’t force them out they will bubble into one giant one.
My apologies for being vulgar but genuinely is this normal?

I fart constantly, but I know it’s my medications that cause it. It’s embarrassing! I never used to be like this! Luckily they’re not often smelly.

A hell of a lot, constantly farting here. Now I am on a ton of meds so I blame them lol, but sweet jesus I am sure I could power something with these rippers

Loads. It's only been in the last few years since I hit my 40s though. Getting older is great.

The average person farts between 10 and 25 times a day so those saying 20 and thinking it's a huge amount are more normal than they think. We pass up to 2 liters of gas a day.

I'm lactose intolerant.

If I eat lactose (mmm.. cream..) I fart a lot. Like, a LOT.

Otherwise not so much.

I laughed so hard reading this thread I farted. 20 a day is a low number of farts per day in this house. I've always been windy, the older I get the louder and more frequent they've become. I work from home thank goodness! When I do go into the office I'm crippled with wind all day 🙈
