starting with your favourite -

May & June
July & August
April
September
March
October
January
December
November
February

For me this is largely because I love lighter nights, summer, spring.

On the other hand I am not a Christmas fan and dislike November & February as bad weather and boring

October (love autumn)
November
December (I adore Christmas, the preparations and aftermath and the sparkly lights everywhere)
January (I love the dark and the cold)
February
March (especially with March winds)

then

April, May

I'd stop there

Basically I love autumn/winter up until Jan 2nd then I've had enough and it's just depressing and never-ending. But I dislike early/mid Spring as it always pretends to be warm when often the cold feels worse than midwinter somehow.

Ponderingwindow · 03/09/2024 22:46

Winter. Finally it is cold. My enemy the sun rarely emerges.
Fall. Getting colder. I’m getting happier
Spring. Getting warmer and the plants are breeding. I am grumpy.
Summer. It’s hot and sunny. I hate the world and everyone in it.

RainingCatsandDogs · 03/09/2024 22:48

May - UK best month
June- Can be lovely + long days
April -Spring arriving
July - Could actually be sunny Picnics/Beach
September - Autumn leaves
August- Hoping for sunshine + Walks
October - Occasional bright sunny day
December - Christmas
March- Promise of Spring
November - Bonfires, Bright crisp, cold.
January Not as bad as February
February Terrible month apart from Pancake Day

August (summer holiday)
May (trees getting their leaves back, weather warming up, flowers, optimism)
June & July (summer greenness, light, hopefully warm)
September (still nice weather, new term feel - but work generally very busy)
January (relief Christmas is over, fresh start feeling)
April (get some spring flowers at least)
February and March (grim weather but at least the days are getting longer)
October (beautiful autumn colours but melancholy)
November (run up to Christmas)
December (Christmas)

Basically I love when the plants are growing and it’s not too cold and dark. And I really dislike Christmas since my mum died so as the days get shorter the long Xmas run up really gets on my nerves. I’m really happy at the beginning of January!

@yummytummy I'm a December birthday person too and I see we have similar listings. I wonder if there's a connection?

Abracadabra12345 · 04/09/2024 06:48

@Ponderingwindow Are you from the US? A part where the sun gets fierce? I love your reply: "the plants are breeding " 😆😆

Definitely a summer person but November is birthday month and I love Christmas which is why they're quite high.
I'm always flat broke in September due to summer holidays and multiple kids birthdays.

kezzykicks · 04/09/2024 07:12

August - love the long month off school - sun, holidays and family time
July - again love the summer hols and the gorgeous weather
December- love Christmas
November - birthdays and love the build up to Christmas
May - love the spring weather and all the plants blossoming
April - love the Easter period - feels so full of new life
March - birthdays and the start of Easter hols
October - really like autumn, Halloween and the cosiness of this month
June - approach of summer
February - find this quite depressing
September - this just feels so long and boring
January - quite depressing, poor after Christmas and nothing to do

To be honest I love all the seasons when they are here and always long for the next one!

yummytummy · 04/09/2024 11:10

@Abracadabra12345 yes i think there absolutely must be a connection with a December birthday! Waves happily to a fellow winter person!
