During a holiday in Florida aged 16, I bumped into 6 students in my school year. Two on the same day, but at different places in the theme park. One of them was coming out of the toilets when I was entering.

Then camping in France, our neighbours turn out to be the son and family of a friend's neighbours.

In all the situations, we didn't know we were going to the same place.

New Zealand (from UK) bumped into a friend from UK who had gone out there to work

Some distant relatives from Australia once came into the travel agency where I worked to reconfirm their flights. Never met before (but unusual name so I asked - they were my Dad's cousins!)

Many years ago ( I'm 50) I went to corfu with my parents ,we found out a few months before that my auntie and uncle and cousins were also going to corfu for the same two weeks at a different resort ,so we met up a few times ,I walked into my uncle, s hotel and sitting by the pool was my head of year!
On the same holiday Neil kinnock drove past us on a jeep 🤣

I bumped into our old school caretaker watching Sticky Vicky in Benidorm. He stood chatting to us while SV was doing her thing. That was awkward 😂
