For me its coca cola.

I know its awful for you. But I love it and it makes me so happy. 🥰

"I’m planning to stop vaping tomorrow" - good luck @DameBroad!

Mine's fizzy drinks, too.

I switched to sugar free a few years ago, but I know they're rotting my teeth yet I can't stop. I like all of them too, Pepsi max, Fanta zero, etc.

2 biscuits on a Friday and you call that a vice?? A standard packet of chocolate digestives must last you a good six weeks!

Fucking hell I would smash through a whole packet during the first 15 minutes of Corrie.

Well that's where you and I differ.

I'd never watch Coronation Street.

White wine and coffee.

Sweetteaplease · 11/08/2024 23:28

Alcohol

SprinkleOfSunak · 11/08/2024 23:37

Alcohol and crisps.

goingtotown · 12/08/2024 00:45

Fish & Chips every Friday.

Can I ask what is the point of all this abstemiousness?

It doesn't necessarily make you live longer ( and why would you want to anyway) it just feels like longer 'cos you're bored witless and miserable!

I'm not even going to tell you what I won't give up, you'd all faint with shock - and I'm approaching elderly.

ihatethewordhubby · 12/08/2024 01:38

Coffee is good for you !

ISpyWithMyLittleEyeSomethingBeginningWith · 12/08/2024 01:41

Crisps. I can’t go a day without them.

Titsonboard · 12/08/2024 01:54

A few months ago I would have said crisps but I was told I was pre diabetic, so I cut out all unnecessary carbs straight away. I had a serious crisp addiction but it was actually easier to go cold turkey, cutting down just wouldn’t have worked.
I’m never giving up my Diet Pepsi though and my teeth are fine ( I’m pretty old as well so had plenty of years for them to be affected).

Chocolate.
Ohh but coffee. Yeah okay, coffee.
But then SUSHI.
And corn dogs.

Wait! Scrap all of the above! Listening to music in my earphones with the volume as loud as it will go. It gives my mood a boost and depression sucks.

re earbuds i am your twin. I am going to be deaf in the next ten years I am sure but i love my music and i love it loud.

Effing Trebor mints.
Tonnes of them.
No other sweets, no alcohol, no cigarettes.
Death by mints.
😁😛

I reckon all the polo mints I sucked when I was younger to cover up the smell of smoke on my breath are one of the reasons my teeth are so bad now.

Sitting in the sun… not full day baking, but just the sun on me makes me feel better

And is good for vitamin D 😊

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 12/08/2024 12:44

I'm not sure anything is really bad for you in moderation.

I drink tea all day long - but I'm pretty sure it contains anti-oxidants and other good for you stuff . I rarely drink coffee now (mainly because I find it hard to find coffee I enjoy), and I've really cut down on the Pepsi.

Probably eat more carbs and sugar than is good for me .

Sadly I'm no longer able to drink enough alcohol to be bad for me. Anything over the recommended amount and I get a bad hangover for a couple of days .
