For me its coca cola.

I know its awful for you. But I love it and it makes me so happy. 🥰

AND Earl Grey Tea!!! You absolute animal

No need to take the piss.

Earl grey is caffeine so probably isn't healthy on balance.

And I didn't list any of the other unhealthy stuff I eat. Only the ones I'd never give up.

I sometimes eat chocolate and crisps, have takeaway once a month and so on, but could give them up. I couldn't give up biscuits or daily caffeine.

I couldn't give up biscuits. I only have a couple of a Friday night, but they're my vice I suppose. I don't eat any other refined sugar if I can help it, but a world without biscuits isn't a world I want to imagine.

I also have an early grey every morning which probably isn't too good for me, but I'm not stopping that either.

2 biscuits on a Friday and you call that a vice?? A standard packet of chocolate digestives must last you a good six weeks!

Fucking hell I would smash through a whole packet during the first 15 minutes of Corrie.

Crisps and cheese, absolutely will never give them up although cheese doesn't even really agree with me. I don't drink alcohol at all now, switched to decaf tea and gave up sugar in my tea this year but would never even attempt to stop cheese and crisps, not worth it!

Espresso - although I'm never sure if coffee is going to kill me or save me.
Also toast - which I think is a double whammy of badness.

coxesorangepippin · 11/08/2024 17:23

Coffee

RenoDakota · 11/08/2024 17:23

Cheese and onion crisps
KitKat Chunkys

AnyFucker · 11/08/2024 17:37

Cake

If you ever decide you do want to stop Coca Cola, get someone to show you a picture of the corrosion on the pipework between the syrup room and the bottling plant in any Coca Cola factory.

Not the lovely shiny pipes they show you on a tour, the actual pipes. Even the recollection makes my teeth itch nowadays.

Chocolate
Crisps

I was addicted to Diet Coke (up to 4 cans a day) years ago but i am convinced it contributed to an severe illness i had. Ironically, it also made me really thirst
I now have about 2 diet cokes a year

Full sugar drinks. Anything with sweeteners is revolting and gives me migraines. I like tea but sometimes want a cold drink with flavour. I’ve tried some of the cold brew teas but just need the sugar at times!

Mitsky · 11/08/2024 17:46

Alcohol. It’s been a loooooong 28 weeks of pregnancy so far.

I didn’t even drink a huge amount but I miss having the option of a glass of wine, especially in the summer when the weather is glorious.

Mumsnet. Bad for my blood pressure sometimes.

Exactly this!

StoatofDisarray · 11/08/2024 17:52

2x 500ml cans of sugar-free low calorie Monster in either Lewis Hamilton (peach and plum flavour) or Ultra Peachy Keen flavour, diluted 50:50 with water, every day (2litres total).

This keeps me hydrated and caffeinated from 6 am to midday, when I have my first meal of the day, for less than 30 kcals.

DameBroad · 11/08/2024 17:52

I’m down to sugar and vaping as my vices.

I stopped smoking 10 years ago
I went tee total 5 years ago
I cut out caffeine last year

I’m planning to stop vaping tomorrow. Eek. It’s going to be hard, but I’m determined.

So that leaves sugar. I can’t cut it out completely (I NEED chocolate when I’ve got PMT, and a great dessert is one of life’s greatest pleasures!) BUT I do plan to drastically cut down now. The daily chocolate habit has got to go, sadly.

God, who’d be middle aged? 😆

Missingpreschool · 11/08/2024 18:01

Cherry pepsi max 😋
All forms of sugar. I'm totally addicted. I quit smoking years ago but for some reason I can't get off sugar.

Itsabeautifuldaytosavelives · 11/08/2024 18:01

Also Diet Coke! I tell myself there are worse vices to have 😂

Boredlass · 11/08/2024 18:04

Pepsi Max and alcohol

LizzeyBenett · 11/08/2024 18:04

Probably Coke Zero or Carbs

Baseline14 · 11/08/2024 18:10

Fruity sweets, Maoam are the worst for me. Cannot leave a sweet in the bag once it's opened. I work nightshift and don't often get a sleep so when I'm tired I feel up with sugar and sometimes I have eaten a full packet before I get home from the shop.

Deadbeatex · 11/08/2024 18:22

Energy drinks! I limit myself to 2 tins of blue boost max a day. I'm a single mum of 2DC with additional needs and the boy child is sooooooooo full of energy and doesn't sleep well, I expect I'll stop once he's up a bit more and at least semi independent

Snozzlemaid · 11/08/2024 18:56

Crispy skin from a roasted chicken.
I've lost 2 stone recently and have given up everything else bad but I just can't stop myself with chicken skin.

2AND2GC · 11/08/2024 19:02

Chocolate.

CordeliaNaismithVorkosigan · 11/08/2024 19:03

Wine. All the wine. I live generally healthily but couldn’t give it up.

Alcohol. Trying to cut down though.
