Good Morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just finishing my first cuppa, in my kitchen spot, before I move to get my tablets. I usually leave my box on the table for the morning but I forgot last night 🙄

It's our city's Pride festival today, so we're going to head out to that shortly, for a few hours in the sunshine. I'll send my Vinted parcels on the way.

We need some food for the kittens on the way home, so we'll stop off for that and some salad for tea, at Lidl. I think we'll have quiche with the salad 😋

This evening it'll be an early shower and early night for me, ready to face Meadowhall to hunt for new school trousers for dd2 tomorrow <yay>

I went to Ikea, which I've only done a couple of times before. This time I bought a blue bag (as well as my purchases), which I have always wanted. They look so handy! And I've discovered the two handle options. Then I got table service at McDonald's. As I sat there in the air-con, I realised that I was living my best life :-)

I did the washing up and swept the kitchen floor. Now lying on my bed again. Looks like I'm getting even less than the bare minimum done today!

DH is at work today so just DD(3) and I until 5pm when he finishes.

I've had a very busy morning with DD at a trampoline park - she has absolutely worn me out and I think I burned about 7000 calories! Shes now crashed out asleep on the sofa. I've just ran around doing a few loads of washing and a bit of housework and I'm now chilling with my feet up and a cuppa while she naps 😅

Library this morning, coffee and banana bread at a seafront pub, then home to a very simple precooked salmon salad with instant lemon rice.
I put out a bedding wash this morning, and the weather has been so hot that I have just bought it in bone dry.

Today I went to the gym. Then went for a long walk and lunch with a friend.

Cleaned the house. Did some washing....

Invited a neighbour over for dinner. DH did a BBQ.... had a couple of glasses of rosè.

Both kids have been playing with friends today and are now at sleepovers. So just having a lovely bath as my knees are killing me 😊
