I dont understand the clamour to know someones name in this case. For those that now know the name, how has it added to anything or changed anything or informed you better? What difference has it made?
And the question that constantly comes up about murders, either planned or not, is why did the perpetrator do it
All the Lucy Letby threads were the same, people bemoaning that as she hadnt confessed no one would ever know why she did it. Well she did it because shes a nut case, enjoyed killing or attention. These reasons dont make sense to the normal, emotionally stable person. So what does knowing 'why' ever bring to anyone? Particularly the general public who have no connection to the victims and their families
I saw a documentary about the Soham killings where that was also a constant refrain, that he wouldnt say why he killed the girls. Well the horrible unpalatable truth is very likely that he killed them because he got a sexual thrill from it. Does that satisfy people asking why, does that make sense to anyone? No of course not
People that kill like that, the Brady's, Wests, Bundys of this world are not normal, there is no sense to the killings they do.
