Who was this woman? It's driving me potty.

I saw her at Stansted airport a couple of weeks ago, so no idea what area of the Uk she lives, but I'm pretty sure she's English.

I recognise her from the telly. Probably around 60. Slim. Nice looking. Not a huge household name but definitely recognisable. Auburn hair, collar/shoulder length. It might have been dyed, but I feel she's probably a natural redhead. A bit freckly.

I think she's maybe been in some long running show like Emmerdale or Holby or something like that. But equally she could be a presenter. It's really bugging me that I can't place her.

Patsy Palmer? Too young though, I think.

Jane Asher.

She is 78 but looks way younger.

Sarah Jarvis? She has auburn hair, is a TV Dr and is early 60’s.

I always laugh at the mention of her name, because a friend of mine once confused Rula Lenska, with Rutger Hauer.

It made for a confusing 10 minutes.

I could have written this exact post about 15 years ago! Red-haired actress in her 60s, very recognisable but not mega famous. Drove me nuts for hours.

Eventually - thanks to my colleagues’ help - we worked out it was Patricia Hodge.

She’s probably a bit older than the woman you spotted though.

I was going to suggest Stefanie Powers for you but she’s older again.
