I'm just drinking my first cuppa, in my kitchen spot, in silence 😊 Both kittens are napping in here, in sunny spots, and no-one else is awake yet (well, dd1 was, but she's gone back to sleep as the kittens followed me down for breakfast 🙄) .

We need to nip into town today for birthday cards for the girls' dad, and my dad, and to look for presents. Goodness knows what we'll get my dad - I had a clear idea last year & he loved it. Not a clue this time 🤷‍♀️

When we get back we need to sort dd1's provisional application & renew passports. I'm not sure how photos work when renewing them online so will have to read that bit first!

I'm off for a few drinks at a friends house this evening, not sure what I'll take to drink yet. I finished 3/4 of a bottle of wine out of the fridge last night so don't really fancy it atm 🤷‍♀️ . Hopefully we'll order some food, I'll be starving otherwise!

What about all of you? 🌞

Helping DF move into sheltered housing! Which is what I've been doing for a week or two...it's a slow process as he's had to buy most things. Waiting for delivery of various things means it's not quite ready to move into.

Going out for a nice curry and drinks with friends this evening which is just what I need.

Afternoon! I’ve been having a lovely day. Slow morning at home with DH and DS, chilling out and watching the olympics. Then we went and met friends at the beach for the afternoon. It was busy and packed with tourists which made it less pleasant than usual but it was lovely nonetheless and I spent quite a lot of time in the sea.

Shattered now so back home having a cuppa while DS eats dinner. We’re off to a small gig shortly but it’s an early one, so DH and I will have dinner and wine when we get back, once DS is in bed.

Well I managed not to lose anyone, but despite making everyone go for test wees someone needed a wee every ten bloody minutes.

Took little'un to her swimming lesson this morning then came home, sun creamed up and went off to a local food festival this afternoon with friends and their kids.
Now home, tired, just walked the dog and showered. About to plough through cheesy nachos and a crap film 😊

Hello @lucysmam . I'm a bit late today. For some reason I didn't sleep much at all last night and then my DH woke me up at 7.30 because he was bleeding and it wouldn't stop, so I needed to dress that. He was quite right to wake me up, we spent a few hours in the local walk in centre this morning waiting to get it looked at. He is fine but I could tell he was quite frightened. He needs to see his GP to get it looked at though.
Then we did a bit of food shopping in Lidl, which was a mistake as we came out with far more than we went in for - as usual!
I was completely knackered by the time we had finished lunch so had several hours of sleep this afternoon.

I am now sitting on the sofa listening to my DH cooking our evening meal. We're having Char Sui pork loin and rice this evening. I was going to do tenderstem broccoli and garlic Wagamama-style to go with it, but to be honest I just didn't feel like it today.

we don't have anything planned for tomorrow - I have a couple of loads of washing to do but that's about it. I do like a lazy day!

@RabbitsRock it was. Great film and soundtrack. Very country. Also blatantly wanting to cast Johnny Depp and Matthew Maconnaughy (SP) but they were too old 🤣
