Toast tastes better being cut in to triangles. Dh does not agree.

Triangle obviously. All those saying rectangle are heathens, I tell yer. Pure heathens!

When I was a little girl my mother used to cut our toast in rectangles, but I noticed that when we had visitors, bread or toast was always given to them cut in little triangles (and pan bread @JenniferSaundersIsMyMum Grin) To me this was a special treat for more important people so I now always treat myself to triangles (and never plain bread, always pan!)

Neither. Tear a piece at a time and add butter and marmite/jam if necessary.

Sorry? What? The whole point of toast is the lovely melty butter. Adding butter piece by piece means it's gone cold and there is no melty butter.

I quite like cold butter on toast sometimes. It’s more faff though

Triangles - the bread to crust ratio is better that way

I don't cut toast. Whole slice, whether it's packet sliced bread or artisan.
