I am glad Donald Trump was not associated but I think there are real questions about his behaviour after the shooting where he appeared to be alive to the optics of the attempted shooting and how to use them to his adavnatge.
Am I mistaken that Trump maybe slowed the security detail to fiat pump the air and mouth something to his supporters? Obviously I am not an expert on security service protocol in such an event but it did appear that Trump was dictating things a little and he wasn't covering under the security operatives which may have been expected when leaving the stage? Was Trump so determined to appear an alpha male fighter that he may have put himself in danger of a theoretical second shooter?
Any way it's a big PR win for Trump and maybe a step closer to the white house.....
