What would you do with it?

Towards autism assessment for my kid.

Debts.

But if I was forbidden from such sensible behaviour - new shoes, books, someone to deep clean my house,pay Stacey Solomon to come and sort out my house

£400 to ds, £400 to dd (savings accounts), £200 on some really well fitting jeans for me. Maybe a bottle of wine for DH if there's any change.

I'd buy a new sofa. I really need one & it would be something specific I'd could say I'd bought (rather than in the renovating fund/pension/towards replacing my car & various other sensible things I need money for)

Boring I know....put it into my savings.

Pay for a deep clean of my flat and go away for a few days while they did it

I would spend it on driving lessons

New bed for us and ds needs a proper wardrobe

Saw some lovely shoes on net a porter earlier. £1000 would get 1.5 pairs

I’d use half towards my credit card debt and the other half towards a holiday.

Me and DD are leaving New York tomorrow. I would pay for a cab to the airport and upgrade us.

Deep clean of my house.

Buy a Fender American Performer Mustang Bass in Aubergine (but I'd have to add a few quid to my £1000).

I'd add another 1k

Put it towards my savings.

Boring, I know, but I'm at a crossroads in my life and the money would come in handy for moving costs, stuff for my new place, etc.

I’d pay for someone to come and re-level the wobbly flags in my garden and if there’s anything left then a deep clean of my house!
Although if it has to be an actual thing - I’ve seen the perfect personalised number plate for £700, but would never spend my own money on one 😂😂

Get laminate flooring right through except the kitchen & bathroom.
Paint lounge, hall, stairs, landing & our room (or rather pay a decorator)
New curtains for our room
Sand down & paint the summerhouse then deck it out with bunting, fairy lights etc.
New fronts for kitchen cupboards if there’s enough left

Bras, gym gear and stock up on the best quality tastiest staples for my kitchen cupboards and fridge.

Ooh that’s a thought - a deep clean. And very possibly pay a declutterer as I just can’t justify the cost per hour normally!

Just had our garden landscaped which has cost far more than I ever thought I would spend on my garden!🥴
If I was given £1k it would go towards a couple of semi mature trees instead of the 3yr old saplings we have just planted.

Power shower in upstairs bathroom.

Or carpet for bedroom.

New sofa or refit hallway flooring and if I had enough left over I like the idea of a whole house deep clean including the oven.
