I can't believe you can now have surgery to change your eye colour.

The amount of modification people are doing to their faces is becoming very extreme. It's not reflecting well on our society and the pressure to fit certain beauty standards.

I see different members of my family when I see my face in the mirror, some who are no longer with us. I see my late nana's distinct shade of blue eyes when I look at my son. It actually makes me sad that people are letting go of their individual faces so easily.

I love ❤️ this post. It’s so true that the features of our relatives live on in us and our children… and it’s a strong bond to tie us in to the world then and now. It’s a real comfort for me as I recently lost a very close family member, but I see so many of their traits in a younger family member. It just feels so reassuring that we live on
