Can anyone help me remember a song just going off an extremely vague description?

I want to say the song is probably 80s, but I may be way off with that!

As far as my brain is allowing me to remember it's sort of a similar style to ch-ch-ch-chaaanges (Bowie), and I get around-round-round (Beach Boys). The very vague memory I have seems to have a similar 'repetitive'/stuttered sort of sound if that makes sense.
I also want to say the lyrics include a suitcase... grabbing a suitcase from somewhere and packing? Packing up your bags? Just... packing? Again, may be completely misremembering or merging with another song entirely.
It's mainly the stuttered sound that's my most confident memory of it... particularly the beginning of the song.

Can anyone hazard a guess based on these very cryptic clues?

Christ, now I know what it is these clues are bloody obscure!! All my brain seemed to leave me with was "maybe rock, maybe to do with leaving and a stuttered lyric in there somewhere... maybe".
