It's Taylor Swift day here for us so we're up bright & breezy just having a cuppa & breakfast. I didn't have the best sleep so hopefully won't be too tired later!

I need to finish snipping loose ends off the jacket I added tassels to, months ago 🙈 then start getting ready.

Dd2's about to get in the shower so she can put in her heatless curler & dd1's mooching a bit aimlessly for now 🤷‍♀️

We're aiming to leave around 1pm ish to head to Anfield for merch and to trade bracelets before going in.

Tonight will be straight to bed for me when we get in, after a brew, so we can go explore Liverpool tomorrow. If anyone has any suggestions where to go I'd appreciate them!

What about all of you? 🙂

Good afternoon @lucysmam . I'm currently in bed with my feet up preparing to have a nap, after a busy morning preparing the house for my adult daughter's birthday tea this afternoon. All the food is good to go, the baking potatoes are already in the oven but it's not switched on yet. The candles are ready to put on the cake, the matches are found. Table is laid, there will be 6 of us. I had a little biopsy on Wednesday so I didn't get my usual Friday morning swim and I'm a bit sore.

The birthday tea was going to be on Wednesday but had to be changed, for various reasons, so my planned trip to go down to the churchyard where my parents are buried with flowers for fathers day, which was to have been today, is now tomorrow.

No lazy weekend for us this week, and we have a busy week ahead with appointments (for me), work (for me), a trip to visit my demented uncle (diagnosed demented, I'm not just being rude) 4 hours away on Friday with an overnight stay and then leaving early to get home to go to the theatre in the afternoon. I have a week off booked for July.... I think I'm going to need it!

I hope you really enjoy Taylor Swift. I believe it's a good show!

I've just finished a painting for a course I'm doing. Now going to the supermarket as the rain and hail has finally stopped! Enjoy your concert.😁

@lucysmam You could visit Chinatown? Lots of restaurants there and there is a really great Chinese bakery close by - I can't remember the name right now (or the address, I'm useless!) Loads of great shopping, some wonderful buildings, you could go on a Mersey river trip or even just across the Mersey on the ferry and back.

Hope you enjoyed it @lucysmam it was bloody great. My daughter was in tears during the countdown clock she was so emotional.
