What would they be

  1. Amanda Holden
  2. Newspaper articles which are just them reporting on a “viral” tiktok which is 6 months old
  3. Free People. I bought a dress. Once. Years ago. They’ve haunted my internet ever since

Anything talking about "fur babies" when they mean dogs or cats.

Anything about food that includes Yum, Yummy or Nom Nom.

The Petulant Prince Harry and Megs.

Anything that tells me "They don't want you to know that ......."

Any ad where a person speaks direct to camera. What you're selling is, ipso facto, shit.

Top, or bottom, 10 lists of anything.

Taylor Swift.
Animal cruelty.
Spiders.

Any search, for anything, having Temu as the first hit.
Local news site 'most seniors don't know that...' with a pic of a ridiculously wrinkled face. Have never clicked on one so I've no idea what they're about.

Supposedly “cute” animal videos with animals shown with babies or toddlers/ or animals dressed in clothes. I love animals so detest the idiots who make and share these
Animal cruelty to shock people into support. I have enough horrors in my head without accidentally seeing that and I doubt any positive effective from showing this anyway
Bloody “cookie” accept bollocks thingies

“You won’t believe what happened next” stories

Yes, I once got sucked in to one of these about four sisters (might even have been quads) who had had a photo taken of them all together on the same date every single year.

I thought it sounded like a really sweet and fascinating piece of social history - and it was interesting, although having every single photo on a new page and having to click 'next' is always deeply irritating.

However, the click-baity headline said something like "Make sure you see right until the truly heart-breaking end" - and that 'heart-breaking' end turned out to be that, after 50 years had passed, they were all alive and well but looked 50 years older than at the beginning!

Also the 'targeted' click-bait ads for life insurance or whatever that fling their 'range' so far and wide that hardly anybody is excluded. "Were you born between 1920 and 2015? Then you NEED to read this!!"

They're telling the absolute truth, but it's hidden in plain sight; and they want the likes of us to think that they're saying the exact opposite of what they are.

Effectively, our privacy IS important to them - in exactly the same way as your handbag IS important to a mugger!
