DH and DS went to the park to play football a few hours back. I've done some housework and put all the washing away (three lots!) and I'm now relaxing with an early G&T ready for them to return and DH to make dinner - chicken souvlaki and pittas 👍🏻👍🏻

Dh is getting ready to go out with friends for drinks, ds upstairs recovering from a stag do last night 🤣, I’ve just cut the grass and am now on the sofa with the dog

Been in the garden for a while. Bit overwhelmed as all the wet weather has set all the weeds off and I don't know how I'll ever get on top of it. Thinking of advertising for a gardener for the first time ever.

DH is crashing around in the kitchen emptying the dishwasher and putting things away. I cannot for the life of me understand why it has to be so LOUD! Can't hear Liza Tarbuck over the racket!!

We just had dinner. Dp is watching In For A Penny, the dog is wandering around hoping one of the kids drops some food for him, dd is nursing a hangover, ds is watching cricket and getting his cricket kit ready for his game tomorrow, dsd1 and 2 baked a chocolate cake for pudding and are icing it

I'm watching F1 qualifying highlights, DH playing PS5, DSS playing PS4. Been a busy day.

Dogs are sleeping totally pooped out after a day at the beach, i'm ravenous and waiting for a takeaway to arrive, DH is pottering in the garden shed.

I'm just waiting for the lawn mower battery to finish charging then I'm going to finish cutting the grass.
Young adult daughters are out for the night at boyfriend's and friends, so teen son and I are home.
I'm enjoying my space and relishing the fact , once again, that exDH has gone, even though its been nearly 5 years !
So I'm going to finish cutting the grass, have some dinner, then chill in front of the TV, then collapse into my bed.

Kids have had tea and now watching a movie.
DH just opened a bottle of wine and pottering in kitchen, am sitting on sofa letting cuddling DS

Listening to (the glorious) Liza Tarbuck in my shabby old garden with a now empty glass of red. Cat sitting on the wall next to me. Clouds are gathering, wind has picked up and it's getting colder so I'm going inside in a sec.
Dh on way home from an event, teens gaming in the house.

We’ve just had Chinese takeaway because neither DH or I fancied cooking. I’d done an afternoon gardening, he’d prepped the porch for painting and watched footy. The youngest had been at a club all afternoon and the oldest revising for GCSEs. Right now I’m lounging on our bed looking for a 4 day break for me and my bestie- seaswimming and winetasting in Sept. DH is painting the porch. We’re going to open wine and watch a film when he’s finished. Kids are on trampoline/ps4/in own rooms on rotation.

DH just cooked us all dinner and now he’s next to me, trying to find the bit where Sonic Youth play on Gilmore Girls.

DC finished A Level revision for the day earlier on and we watched Mary Poppins after a short walk. He’s a film buff. Only watching things he’s seen before during revision. Last week it was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Love eclectic he is 😂

DS19 about to go out to meet the girlfriend in a cloud of Creed. 😅

Just cleaned up the kitchen, stacked the dishwasher and fed the dog.

Now settling down to watch a rubbishy film with a diet coke and a newly groomed doggo. So floofy I can't stop playing with his ears.

Windows are all open and there's a lovely fresh breeze wafting in.

We're not at home. We're at my brother and SILs house for a birthday takeaway.

Bro and SIL are out collecting the food. Mum is entertaining my nephew, my husband is putting our son to bed in the guest room and our newborn daughter is asleep in my lap.

I’m sat on my butt watching an old episode of Bake Off with a glass of wine. I need to rinse the cure off the trout I’m having for dinner tomorrow but I’ll probably forget.

DH and I are watching BGT and having a wine, just cooked pizzas outside. DD has a friend over and DS is gaming and chatting to friends on his headset. I’ve just put the tortoise to bed, he’s had a lovely day in the sun, cat is outside still asleep.

I'm trying to find my flipping sewing, it was in a knitting bag somewhere but the house is upside down because we're preparing for a weekend by the sea. There's also a minor panic as my church clothes are in the tumbler for tomorrow morning and I don't even know if they can be tumble dried. On the plus side, apple pie and ice cream.

Watching a film that dh chose (name escapes me) which is not holding my attention so have been doing sudoko & twatting about on MN

I'm about to pour a glass of wine & read my book.

I'm ironing clothes and packing ready for Mallorca on Monday. Daughter(18) is watching some show in her laptop. DH is singing along to the Housemartins!

DH has taken DS and DD age 4 and 1 out for a walk whilst I have a bath and tidy up the house for FIL and S-MIL coming over ours today. We've got pizza and picky bits in for them. Hoping it warms up a bit as it rained this morning (South east) and we're hoping we can go outside so the kids run off some steam. DS was a little shit earlier, he's being hard work at the mo so preying to good weather!

Ds15 and Ds13 are both sitting on the sofa eating salami, cheese & crackers after having already eaten dinner.

I'm sitting in armchair wondering if I'm going to have to do another grocery shop because these boys have not stopped eating the last 3 days.

And we're watching a Korean drama series on netflix

My house is quiet as teenagers are still sleeping.

Ive just taken the dog for a walk, and now im doing nothing.

Sitting on the sofa with a dog next to me. Other dog is outside. Bedding is in the washing machine. Trying to decide what to have for breakfast and what series I can start watching. Will be mopping the floors and watching telly for the rest of the day. DH gets back from working away tomorrow.
