DH and DS went to the park to play football a few hours back. I've done some housework and put all the washing away (three lots!) and I'm now relaxing with an early G&T ready for them to return and DH to make dinner - chicken souvlaki and pittas 👍🏻👍🏻

I was away for a few days with a friend so I’m catching up on the washing and housework that wasn’t done while I was away . House is cleaner than expected but not my level of clean. Husband and son have been mowing grass for silage and have just come in for the evening. Daughter was cleaning out the chickens and litter trays. She is hiding somewhere in case I ask her to do anything else 😂 I’m drinking tea and putting off cooking dinner.

Driving in the rain, returning DD15 from her GF’s ( DH driving obv!) Stopping at a Burger King for DD. Think DH & I will have ham & cheese omelettes & finish off a bag of oven chips. Triple cooked Aldi ones which are really good. Watching BGT & The 1% club tonight.

DH is celebrating the football with a glass of wine. I am keeping an eye on dinner and wondering whether I can replicate the elderflower fritters my mum used to make. She was brilliant at foraging and I - on a whim, picked some fresh flowers and have made a batter...

DS 2 is on a train - his band are playing at a festival! I am so impressed. Wish I was there. DS one is getting ready for night shift at work.

Away in our caravan so had a relaxing morning. Went to the beach for the afternoon and had delicious toasties for lunch. Kids played while me and DH read and threw balls for them. Mini supermarket shop for dinner and snacks on our way back to caravan.
Been sitting outside reading and now inside listening to music while DH makes dinner.
Wearher for tomorrow is rubbish so will stick waterproof jackets on and have a wander at the shops and park.

I am being forced to watch all the hobbit movies potentially followed by the lord of the rings…but i have popcorn, wine and fish and chips in a bit so its no so bad

I've just ordered a Chinese Chinese takeaway and will be going out drinking in my local village after it. What about everyone else?

How odd, I'm currently eating a mix of left over roast chicken tumbled together with cottage cheese, drop Peppers, Cucumber, pepperonicino and beetroot on pittas.

I’m just about to get in the shower before heading to work at 7 for a night shift.
DP, DD and DSD are currently eating pizza before a bit of Saturday night tv and bedtime for the kids.

DD upstairs studying, me and DH watching guff tv whilst waiting for my luscious homemade lasagne to finish cooking, dog on the other sofa licking his bollocks.

I've come from a full day in the garden and am waiting for the dinner DD said she would cook. I can't hear any activity though and my stomach thinks my throat's been cut.

I’m enjoying a mojito and a packet of crisps, DH went to buy a lottery ticket an hour ago and isn’t back (no idea why it’s taking so long), dog is snoozing be we’ve been out for a walk.
I need to remake the bed, have a shower and then I’m going to sit and read my book.

DCat is home alone, we're visiting family. I am watching Bluey with DNephew2, DS1 and DS2; DNephew1 is chilling on his own, DSIL, DBIL and DH are cooking/ drinking wine I imagine. Went to the park and enjoyed the sunshine after a ridiculously long drive over.

Just hung some washing out for a couple of hours in the breeze. Now catching up with Chelsea Flower Show with DH. DD22 getting ready to go and see Girls Aloud in concert.

Been to visit a dying uncle while dh was at work. We both arrived home about an hour ago and about to make chicken,salad etc, got my vodka and him beer and watch a film as it's a rare night off all 3 toddlers at grandparents for the night

It’s a gorgeous day. I’ve got Covid so am in bed but can hear the birds through the window and it’s lovely. Nobody wants to be near me and I think my husband is starting to feel the strain!

Daughter has gone to a sleepover, husband is at a BBQ with work colleagues that I didn't feel like going to. I'm sat in the garden with the dogs reading my book and drinking a G&T, praying that the grey clouds on the horizon bloody well stay there.

I'm writing (eh yes, I know I'm on mn-covers face in shame!!!) for one more hour to coax eldest ds to study (he's in the same room and he's been doing a few minutes here and there then disappearing with his phone all day, his exam is Monday), 14yo just finished study so in on xbox, other two have been given an extra hour tablet time (before that we all played chess). Going to watch a movie afterwards.

DS is making a card for his Nan's 80th birthday tomorrow, DH is napping on the sofa.

I need to crack on with writing my packing list for going away next week.

I'm lying on the sofa drunk after visiting the local branch of CAMRA's annual beer festival. I only had a pint of cider (3 thirds). When I got back, I ate a massive bag of crisps and a bar of chocolate that I bought on the way home. I fell asleep on the sofa and while I was asleep, the parrot crawled all over me biting holes in my shirt and pooping on the floor. Now I feel sordid and hung over. I'm watching Atomic Shrimp doing a challenge on the TV (YouTube) and drinking water. It's pretty pathetic really!
