Is Noel Gallagher the only rock star who likes women his own age?

I use the term rock star loosely 😀 but how refreshing to see the newly single multi millionaire Noel Gallagher dating someone in her early 50’s. Most successful blokes in the music biz seem to date women much younger. Tbf I think his brother might be the same. Not that I’m a fan or anything or, think that I’m in with a chance 😂😂

The average age gap at marriage in the US is 2.5 years

When it's a famous man dating a woman with that age gap, the woman is 'age appropriate' and we're meant to fawn over the man for not dating someone just out of her teens.

If the man were the younger partner, the woman might not be directly criticised. But the age gap would definitely be remarked upon, and it would be pointed out that he was a 'younger man'. She certainly would not be praised for choosing an 'age appropriate' man.

I think Sara was a fair bit younger but seemed mature/ a sophisticated choice?

@IcedPurple indeed - and I believe Keanu has had a certain amount of negative comment for dating someone in her 50s despite her being younger.

I’m ok, thanks. Oh and dating someone to the point of getting engaged and only then thinking “whoops, they are 20-odd and I’m 43” is hardly praise worthy.

Idk Sara's age but sounds like a minimising argument to call her "mature", many older partners use that term.
