I use the term rock star loosely 😀 but how refreshing to see the newly single multi millionaire Noel Gallagher dating someone in her early 50’s. Most successful blokes in the music biz seem to date women much younger. Tbf I think his brother might be the same. Not that I’m a fan or anything or, think that I’m in with a chance 😂😂

I think most posts refer to pop stars (music or popularity wise) rather than actual rock stars.

I think there are many, many male musicians, actors etc who are with/date women their own age but it's the ones who date much younger women who are the type to be out and about 'flaunting' their partner and thinking it makes them look cool/sexy.
However, in reality they look like sad old men who can't hold down a grown ip relationship.

I think most do, Tbf. Lots of the older generations of rock stars have very long standing marriages. We only hear about the shock, horror stories because no one is interested in oldies who are happily married.

We thought she was making it up but she might not have been. I googled the year and they were on a uk tour that year and played near this random little town so I tend to believe her now.

Yes, we praise men for having 'age appropriate' female partners who could be a decade younger. But if the genders were reversed, we'd consider those to be pretty significant age gaps.
