Good Morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I've just got up after an awful night's sleep. I have one of those annoying, does nothing, tickly coughs 🙄 My first cuppa's just brewing & I'm going to enjoy it in silence!

I'm in wait mode this morning - going out for drinks later to celebrate my favourite ex-colleague's new job, so won't do anything big 🤣

I'll get the washer going & tidy round after my cuppa. Hopefully the weather will improve - it's looking quite grey out there atm. I bought a new black marker too so will probably finish customising our t-shirts to wear to the Eras Tour in four weeks. I'm so bloody excited, even if I am having an outfit crisis 😱. Un-excitingly, there are a couple of bills I need to pay online too so they'll be my first job of the day.

Dd1's working at 2, so she likely won't do anything much either. I expect she'll lay in bed until the last possible minute 🤷‍♀️

Dd2 wanted to go try on a blazer type jacket in town so hopefully her Dad will do that with her, although I'm not convinced he's the best person for fashion advice 🤣

Later it'll be home & do nothing much for me. There's loads I want to do but once I stop, I'm done, lately.

Hi everyone, I’m a bit late to the thread today.

I had my usual lazy morning and Tesco delivery then I got myself sorted and went to make the final decision on our new sofas and ordered them this afternoon.

I’ve just got back home and ds22 is here so we’re going to sit in the back garden in the sun and have a couple of beers/glasses of wine because why not?

No idea what we’re having for tea but I’ll sort something later then tonight dd16 wants to watch Bridgerton from season 1 so we’ll make a start on that before bed.

Afternoon all! Very late to the thread today! Did the usual drop off and pick up of DS1 at football training and then opened the ‘breakfast cafe’ and make what everyone wanted for breakfast.

DP went off to play cricket with DSS and his mum as support and I tidied round and got ready.

Currently on the tube with DSD and 2 of her friends on our way to the O2 to see Olivia Rodrigo. I hadn’t listened to any of songs really until Thursday but now I’m really looking forward to it. She’s very good isn’t she?

Up at 05:15 tomorrow to take mum, dad, sis, BIL and baby nephew to Heathrow so best not hit the wine too hard tonight!!

Good Evening. Another one who had a bad night's sleep. Wilf went to a deaf comedy gig and didn't get home till 2am. He was very excited as he met Tash from the Bake Off. I dozed and then kept looking at my phone. I was very relieved when he messaged to say he was home. I then had to be up at 5.45 for work. I ended up staying an extra two and a half hours!! Had a doze this afternoon and I'm now watching an old episode of Marple before BGT comes on.

Evening all, late to the game today. The baby has been ill all week with a double ear infection, she was actually admitted to hospital on Tuesday night, so we're both knackered. DD1 has gone to her Dad's so as the baby is feeling better my parents offered to have her for the afternoon and overnight so we can rest. We had a lovely time, pub, food then to another pub. I'm now sitting in the garden soaking up the last rays before having a bath and an early night, will be so nice not being woken up by 6:30 tomorrow! Have a great evening d

I did enjoy my coffee's in peace and chilled in the garden this afternoon.
Picked daughter up and called in at the pub with a bunch of friends. Been lovely 🥰
