How do you get sweat/ BO out of clothes?

Any tips on effectively getting the stale sweat smell out of clothes? Normal laundry detergent doesn't seem to do it!

I would start by looking at what is causing the excessive sweating if the smell is that difficult to get rid of.

This may blow yout mind....but maybe exercise?

It is often deodorant residue on fabric trapping sweat particles, rather than the sweat itself.

Agree if it's dri- wick gym gear you need something anti bacterial - dettol etc.

In my case its exercise that makes me sweat and the smells get trapped in the fabric.

Always washing powder (fairy non bio at the minute), never liquid or gel and I use the Dettol Laundry Cleanser too. Works wonders on DH clothes especially deodorant build up etc.

An overnight soak in warm water with a generous couple of tablespoons of soda crystals. Then wash as normal with white vinegar in the fabric conditioner drawer.
