Files are usually recoverable

Google can be really helpful when IT issues crop up

Kangarude · 29/04/2024 20:27

How many more threads OP?
You are obviously not very good at the job

flufalump · 29/04/2024 20:29

Surely you can just go in to your sent folder and retrive the email with the copy of the file and resave it?

But it was a few mistakes towards the end... I hit all the performance metrics

Quite a few from what you have said

Do you not have anything better to do than to make somebody with a clearly very low self esteem, feel even worse?

Mumsnet seems to have more and more keyboard bitches than ever before.

No need to be so nasty.

The op is clearly needing some kind of support hence posting. They are autistic and maybe it would be kinder to be less harsh. Or are you always perfect?

BingoMarieHeeler · 29/04/2024 20:43

It doesn’t really sound like a ‘lmao’-appropriate situation 😵‍💫

I mean probably some of the elements in your first point will answer your question. Low IQ 🤷🏻‍♀️

Idk how anyone remembers who posted what. Either you spend waaaay too much time on Mumsnet looking out for continuity to kick people when they're down or I'm not attentive enough.

Kangarude · 29/04/2024 20:48

I’m not being nasty. The OP says she is laughing about it. I also don’t have good a memory but I had already posted on another thread OP started this evening

LiterallyOnFire · 29/04/2024 20:52

Wait. What? You're a management consultant with a low IQ?

That seems....unusual.

And why do you keep starting so many threads?

I have autism, maybe this can explain a lot of weird shit

Surely you could have just retrieved the deleted file from your sent emails, or your deleted files, or asked IT for help.

Why did you not think of these options? Did you forget? Or panic? Or not realise you’d deleted it?

LiterallyOnFire · 29/04/2024 20:58

The autism I have experience of and understand. I've tried to answer helpfully on a couple of your threads.

The low IQ thing was a new piece of info, I think. I don't remember you mentioning it on all the other threads.

Jegersur · 29/04/2024 20:59

How old are you, OP? Is this your first job? Did you go to college or university? How did they go? What was school like for you?

Testina · 29/04/2024 21:00

The “lmao” is completely inappropriate.
Just get the file from the sent email, or the recycle bin on your computer.

Namechange666 · 29/04/2024 21:07

Op may need some extra understanding and it seems very few is to be willing to. Not everyone is perfect. They clearly just want someone to talk to about this. Maybe they have communication issues. Maybe they are embarrassed? Just might be better to be understanding when someone is ND and may have issues when understanding things.

Op I've read both of your posts. I don't think maybe mums net is going to help you get support. Can you speak to your manager about what has happened and ask to go through it. Maybe they can put some reasonable adjustments in for you.

"Both"?!

I think you should try reading all of OP's threads (I think about ten today) to get more detail & context, TBH

wilteddandelion · 29/04/2024 22:51

how low is 'low' IQ?

I'm presuming to know these things, you've got medical professionals on board, can they contact occupational health/hr on your behalf to advocate/explain that you need more support? From your threads it sounds as if your work isn't really be explicit enough in laying out expectations which is leading to you making the 'errors' because what's obvious to others isn't to you

I have autism, my iq is fine

OP posts:

Why did you say you have a low IQ then?

Then why did you write "low IQ" in your OP?

I might... I scored top 4% in the verbal section, 13% in the non-verbal section of my mensa test

Mensa does not quantify intelligence. The results of their tests are irrelevant.
