I thought no one could beat Thatcher in ruin parts of our country but along came this government and fuck us over hard.
It's difficult to decide who I disrespect the most: Cameron who allowed Brexit to happen purely to save his career and in doing so ruined our country (and ironically his career), Johnson the most vile narcissist to have taken office. How anyone fell for his act was beyond me and though I hate him and his evilness I am have strong feels of disappointment at how thick we are as a nation. Truss, no words, she is obviously mentally ill (I say this as someone with a serious MH problem- Liz get help love), and Rishi (really he is a rich boy who is floundering around grabbing what he can for his mates before they are all kicked out)

In short they make me ashamed of our country and the fools that voted them in.

The lowest of the low. Divisive, lying, corrupt, incompetent hypocrites. Need I say any more?

Angela Rayner was right. Many of them are sc*m.

I'm looking forward to forgetting them as quickly as possible. I hope the whole party and all its rats sink into oblivion forever. I am permanently done with them.

Where to start? They have laid this country so low. We are so much poorer on so many levels because of them. They have burned so much to the ground.

Grenfell Tower happened on their watch and is a tragically apt analogy for what they have done to the UK.

Boris's hard Brexit was a massive failure of statecraft. It will take generations for the UK to recover economically and politically, yet David Cameron walked away cheerfully humming.

Austerity. Covid parties and Bojo's lies. Shameless mad Liz Truss. Horrific Rwanda asylum seekers policy. A disgusting and distressing record all round.

Amara123 · 18/04/2024 23:54

What's worse is how they've damaged the reputation of Britain abroad. With their toadying to Trump and constant flip flopping on international agreements.
Also this mad stuff of publicly insulting international counterparts to make the Daily Mail happy, totally destroying potential for improved international relations. Not a serious party who can put the country first, they need a total clear out and restart.
Also the state of the environment on their watch. Water companies paying out massive dividends until they are in the red, polluting rivers and seas. No consequences.

sausageupanalley · 18/04/2024 23:55

That they've almost completely destroyed the country for their own gain. Austerity: targeting the poorest and most vulnerable in society to save very little whilst they overspent hugely on all sorts of rubbish. Cameron not being strong enough against the anti Europeans in his party and not understanding the country well enough to put a decision like brexit to the country. The smuggery and contempt for law and procedure shown by Boris and dodgy contracts over covid. Trashing the economy of Truss. What a shitshow. Here's hoping the public have a long memory and give labout a chance to make some decent changes
