Who's up and what's keeping you awake?

Been awake since around midnight here with a poorly DC. Been waiting (a long time) for a 111 callback. Chased them up and they said they'll call back asap as we've been waiting so long.

Currently watching Gordon Ramsey's Behind Bars whilst watching poorly DC sleep whilst awaiting the call back.

What's everyone else doing awake at this awful hour?

Awake with tonsillitis. Swallowing my own spit is like broken glass

@inigomontoyahwillcox thank you for your post. I wish it was that simple... I'm trying to keep him as quiet as possible as were staying at my gp for a few days for childcare help, I can't take my eyes off him and I'm being kicked, scratched etc. Sorry you've been here too I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I think we will pack up and go home early tomorrow I'm worry about him disturbing gp x

Oh crap - that is really hard, it sounds like you've got a LOT on your plate 💐 Yes, maybe your own environment may be a good idea.

Good (horribly early) morning, sorry to hear so many of you are awake, especially those who are feeling poorly or upset 😢
It’s not unusual for me to be awake during the night unfortunately, I don’t sleep well because of heart problems.
All’s very quiet here, I have a splitting headache I think it’s because of my shingles vaccination yesterday, my arm’s very sore too 🙄
Luckily I’m retired so it’s not as frustrating as for many of you as I have nothing planned for today apart from dog walking.
@ConsuelaHammock i well remember the calving night watch, stuffing my pyjama legs into wellies and venturing outside. We stopped farming years ago but I still miss the marvel of a calf being born.
I do hope you all get a better night tonight 🤞🏻

Night sweats and then cannot get back to sleep. Been bad for 3 weeks now, I'm only 43, it must be Peri as I've never had it before other than fever with a cold. A trip to the doctors I think 😕 .

Very pregnant and very, very uncomfortable! There's only so much flipping from one side to another one can take 😅

HelloVeritas · 03/04/2024 05:06

Have been having symptoms over last few months (weight loss and abdominal pain), so currently awaiting results of CT scan on Saturday.

My mind is racing too much to sleep. Wish they'd hurry up!

My dd is having surgery in a week. In front of her I'm not worried but alone at night I am scared to death. Panic attacks galore.
