To ask how much chocolate you’ve had today ?

Please someone make me feel better about what I’ve eaten 😆
this morning I had 2 slices of toast with biscoff spread , then “lunch” I had a small chocolate Cadbury buttons Easter egg , the whole thing in one go😆 I’m very slim and trying to gain weight but have suffered from eating disorders (orthorexia) which means I’m obsessive about eating healthy foods.
ive been avoiding foods with E numbers and additives etc and watching sugar intake , but today I gave in due to hunger and realised that egg had over 50g of sugars and now I’m panicking and feel like I can’t eat anything rest of day cause let’s face it near enough everything has sugar in it 😆 help me feel better please !!

If you need to gain weight, you need to stick to a weight gain diet.

Eating chocolate instead of meals won't help I'm afraid.

I’m not eating chocolate instead of meals . It was a one off 😆

none as I too am low carbing. It's a very healthy way to eat, but given your situation I think you need to just eat food & not find an obsessive way of doing it 🌷

you should enjoy the things you've eaten today, but see them as 'extras' and eat some REAL food.

plan a proper dinner with protein & vegetables. What do you like? What do you have in? What could you buy?

Love any green veggies . Just don’t know what type of protein to have with it should I be adding carbs in too ?

Well...i am currently pregnant and its all i want. Haha

It started with midnight munchies at 2am this morning. I had a chocolate buttons cadbury yoghurt.

Then today i have had a large big sainsburys bar if chocolate (having to buy cheap as i am getting through so much)
A bag of Easter malteser bunnies, finished an easter egg. Then chocolate topped rice cakes 😂😂

I will then crack open ice cream tonight.

Its so bad, i usually eat so healthy, snacking on fresh fruit and veg...but oh my, i am even dreaming about it. Think this baby is going to be a chunk

I ate super unhealthy when pregnant too but she came out 4lbs😆😆

A double decker and a bar of dairy milk 😂 that isn’t usual for me but I’m tired and needed the sugar hit.

The lunch of champions- a whole medium sized Lindt gold bunny (100g). I started feeling sick towards the end but pushed through and finished strong with the ears (best bit).

OP, no harm at all will come to you from eating the Cadbury Easter egg as a one-off. Your body was calling for it, perhaps you needed the calories and an instant lift. I’m like that when I’m getting a migraine, my body calls for sugar, it even stops the migraine sometimes if I have a spoonful of honey. You should have your meals as normal for the rest of the day.

If you’re trying to gain weight just concentrate on making your meals balanced and healthy, have protein AND carbs with every meal. Let yourself have sufficient calories and you won’t want to binge on something sweet. Low carb eating is more for people who need to lose weight. Carbs will help you gain some weight and small amounts of sugar in moderation will do you no harm while you’re very slim.

I give you permission to nourish yourself and even have a sugary treat now and again!

I’ve had a quarter of a huge bar of Milka chocolate but will probably have a bit more later because an open bar calls to me from the cupboard.

Managed to resist despite making an enormous chocolate torte for the weekend. The whole house smells of chocolate but I've promised myself an indulgent weekend if I can hang on being healthy for lent. That unfortunately means no chocolate as one little bit sets me off and I can't stop.

I'm making chocolate eggs with DD tomorrow too 😁. She can have some and I will live vicariously through her and everyone on this thread. I have a four pack of KitKat chunky hidden in a cupboard somewhere waiting for the dam to break. My self control is shocking myself. Bloody love chocolate.

none... i gave up chocolate for lent! what i would say is, perhaps try make contact with any support you may have, because it sounds like things may be spirralling out of control for you
