I love these threads.

DS and I have just returned from swimming lessons. DH has made a lovely minted lamb hotpot. Dog has been walked and I've managed to wash all the bedding and get it line dried, so looking forward to putting that on. Gladiators after tea, then sorting uniform for the morning. Showers all round, glass of rose and the last episode of True Detective Night Country once DS is in bed.

We had lunch at church today, then came home for facetime with all four grandparents (not all at once 😁), and husband then cooked a roast. I successfully managed to extract a leaking, crystallized battery from my old wireless keyboard using lemon juice and removing the rear casing. Gave it a good clean and I hope it still works! Will find out tomorrow.

Bribed the toddler to eat his roast with the promise of a "horse bun" (unicorn molds from B&M that are absolutely not recommended), now I get to clean the disaster of a kitchen from my husband, who has no sense of minimalizing mess when he cooks.

The fire is lit, so when toddler goes to bed I intend to sit under the jumper that I'm knitting (I'm about 75% done), and we'll prpbably watch the Mentalist if husband doesn't get carried away with the football.

Then I have brand new jammies, which are SO soft and comfy and warm, to get into. In fact I may go up and put them on now.

I'm doing all of my mum's admin/online shopping (because everything my dad used to do is down to me now he's in a care home).

Then packing for a work trip as I have to be up at 5.30am.

Forgot to say that I had a nice walk with a friend late afternoon & exceeded my daily steps target. Determined to walk every day & get properly fit again

I'm currently in the bath after having a busy day doing Jobs- tip run, changed my sons room round, dropping present off for my friend who's birthday is tomorrow and a bit of food shopping. Going to watch a movie in bed after the bath with hubby.

My 8 year old is desperately trying to get her front pull over on her gymnastics bar.... I am fed up of seeing her upside down :P

I've got that everlasting cold so DD has said she'll cook dinner. So I'm lying in bed and she's making enchiladas. Then we'll watch a movie. Got to catch a ferry in the morning for a pita reason so up early tomorrow. I was supposed to vacuum get the house more in order but that hadn't happened.

Just finished a nice roast dinner, DH is on the phone to someone, and DD & I are watching 'Allo Allo. All go go go here.

Nursing my partner who has fallen off his mountain bike.

We suspect cracked ribs and very sore shoulder. He hit his head - his helmet has dents in it - helmet shopping next week

Oh and I forgot - we somehow ended up with an extra Christmas pudding which didn't get eaten, so we're having that for afters this evening.

Lie in till 10, sorted out some admin relating to my mum's funeral this week (photos for the visual tribute, that was a bit tough, had a few tears)

Lovely pub lunch with DP, a glass of red, or 2, football on the pub telly, back home to slob on the sofa and another glass of decent red.

Currently blubbing at cancer stories on Bake Off; Cancer is an unwelcome visitor in my life right now .

Busy day painting our daughter's room. Had tea, bathed the kids, sorted school stuff and now they're in bed.
I'm going to iron their school clothes for the week then sit down with hot chocolate and a book.

We went for a carvery today, came back and went to the local to watch the man u match/celebrate st Paddy's day. Walked home, kids got showers while I made them egg on toast. I've cleaned up, packed the lunches and sorted the uniforms. I'm about to get a bath now before watching big brother then crashing in bed!

One child is in bed, one is off school tomorrow so staying up a bit later. I'm having a rum and coke and watching the bake off.

Day trip, further or closer away, always involving nature spot and a church, holiday cottages browsing for the coming Easter holidays, dinner made, still some more online browsing, take it slowly, not a fan of tv

Kids (grown up) are all away this weekend. We’ve both been working and are tired, so I made an easy slow cooked beef stew with garlicky potatoes and green beans, followed by strawberries dipped in melted chocolate. Now finishing the red wine that I opened to make the stew (it’s a good one; I only put a splosh in).

DH is asleep on the sofa; I’m on the chair, covered by two small dogs. The fire is blazing merrily ☺️.

We've been out clothes shopping today so - obviously - we're being treated to a fashion show of everything.

I've got my usual Sunday night catch up call with my uni friends in 20 mins.

Went for a walk this evening with DH, 2nd Ds and DD. Oldest DS stayed home because his computer science course work is due on Tuesday so he is up to his eyes finishing that. The kids got dirty playing in a quarry so they were sent for showers. Had a green dinner for St Patricks day- pesto pasta with peas and seafood at DD's request. Now everyone is relaxing on separate screens and I'm mustering the energy to get the younger two to bed.

Lunch with a friend, food shopping, dogs walked and afternoon on the couch. Just about to open ice cream. DP confined to bed with manflu!! Such a peaceful day 😀

Did a snappy shopper order for wine and watching hunted! DD2 has just woken up though, have a cat on my lap

Husband & I went to a friends place for lunch, then back home and now we’re relaxing in the garden with white wine before turning in.

Lazy day. Laundry. Watched the football. pampering bath, at home and manicure and pedicure. Cooked a chicken pie for dinner

We've not done much today - dd2 has unenthusiastically half cleaned her room and finished her homework, dd1 has almost done her homework & not done much else.

We were going to make some bracelets to take to our Eras Tour night, while watching the Eras Tour Movie, but the girls decided to do it next weekend instead of venturing out in the rain for snacks this morning. I made some more tassels for my jacket (hopefully this time it looks full enough of them!), and have just made a couple of bracelets this evening, as well as amending my Tesco, ordering dd2's top for her Eras outfit, and ordering a few things on Ebay.

Now everyone's chilling & getting ready for the week ahead. Dd2 will likely be reading in bed, dd1 is in the neverending shower 🙄, and I'm going to pick my book up for half an hour before I go to bed 💤
