Do you have a "white whale" band/performer?

As in are you a gig goer who has one (or more) bands/performers that they really want(ed) to see but for some reason it never happened?

For me it was Pearl Jam but i finally got to see them at BST in 2022. The only other band i think i would have liked to see who i haven't were Talking Heads.

Anyone else?

I wanted to see Mark Lanegan perform solo. Unfortunately that didn't work out, but I did see him sing with QOTSA years and years ago, so I did hear him in person

Also wanted to see Midnight Oil. Managed it finally, 2 years ago on their farewell tour.

Pixies are next on my list but all the tickets I've seen are beyond my budget.

where did you see the Oils? i followed them round Europe in 22, saw them 6 times (saw them 4 times in 2019 too). The Camden Roundhouse gig is simply the best gig I've ever been to. And I've seen everyone.

That weekend in London was great, we saw Pearl Jam on the Friday, supported by the Pixies (I'd have preferred to see the Stereophonics, but we were at the oils then)

Queen with Freddie was my first concert. Bristol Hippodrome 1977

I was at that one too.

Oils - Camden Roundhouse. I'm still not over it. Got into them back in the late 80s but was never in the right place at the right time. Camden was amazing. There were tears, there was joy, there was me standing at the front in rapture!

(are you a powderworker?) lots of my friends in all the vids of the tour :)
I was with a couple of friends a little in front of the mixing desk - god when they played One Country there was a frantic hunt for tissues.

Didn't Brand New split up after the lead singer got accused by multiple people of sexual misconduct, including many allegations against minors? I stopped listening to them then, even though they were one of my favourite bands Confused

Yes, in as much as I've joined the social media, and support campaigns when I can.
I've seen some recent uploads from individual projects, but haven't yet watched them all.

Oh my god, Brand New! I haven’t thought about them in years. Deja Entendu was one of my favourite albums 😃
