Good Morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just finishing my first cuppa of the day & boiling the kettle to make a coffee. The washer's on already, and on it's second spin, and I've had a tidy round. There's last night's pots to be done and a second wash load - the pots will be someone else's job!

I'm having a tooth out this morning, before starting another medication...just how I want to spend my Saturday morning 😥 Not sure what else I'll do today - suppose that depends how painful the tooth coming out is 🤷‍♀️. I'd like to get the rest of the bead tassels on my jacket for the Eras Tour & pick up a parcel from round the corner.

The girls are off into town to see if they can find reduced cowboy boots in Primarni for dd2 to wear to the Eras Tour - her skirt arrived yesterday & she's
getting excited now 😊 She's never been to a concert before. Dd1 asked for...something...while they're there but I cannot remember what it was. It may well have been a charger wire - she seems to eat those!

Later on, tea will probably be a help yourself affair - I've already told them I'm making something soft for myself, & no-one's bothered to look and see what there is to be had. I suspect noodles and toasties will be what they have.

Probably an early one for me tonight - I'll either read some more of my book or solve some more Murdle puzzles first. I'm stuck on a puzzle atm so haven't picked Murdle up this week 🙈 Maybe tonight's the night I'll get it!

Morning all. DD’s gymnastics this morning then DP and I need to build some furniture this afternoon…not looking forward to that but does need doing. About to go and rummage through freezer for something for tea. DS wants to watch the F1 this afternoon and we’ll all watch Gladiators later.

This morning, first load of washing already on, so I'll have coffee, do the food shop, take ds to swimming,

Run, then gardening this afternoon if it isn't raining 🙄Or paint the bathroom.

Morning, very boring day here, the dc are going to their activities and I’m marking year 10 exams which will take most of the day.

Good morning Lucysmam and others. I'm cuddling into dgs1 who came for an unexpected sleepover while dd went to hospital with dgs2. He had an operation in the early hours of the morning and the problem sorted. Poor dd. It's her birthday today and not the day she imagined. I don't expect dd has had much sleep so I'm not sure when dgs1 will be picked up. I'm still coughing and sneezing so it'll be a quiet day otherwise.

Im up and had my first cup of tea. DCats woke me early to announce they were starving! They are happy and settled now.

DS is sat next to me coughing away. DD has went back to sleep now her friend has been picked up. DH is asleep still.

I am working today so will get moving soon. Few friends up tonight which I’m looking forward to.

It's a beautiful sunny day here but around 3 degrees so chilly. I'm having my usual tea on the couch and pottering around with the morning chores. Love this simple pottering around. Might get the school uniform on the line.

We are off to the park this morning with the little ones, the big ones are off to the gym (old enough to go themselves!). We will probably get a treat from the little deli near the park, sausage rolls or something.

No idea what's for tea yet. On a Saturday we've started having dinner while watching gladiators. I'm thinking possibly hotdogs and wedges but I really fancy a takeaway, will discuss with DH!

Good morning all. We've woken up to unexpected snow so I'm thanking my lucky stars I'm not walking my friend's dog this morning like I usually do on a Saturday. Dd2 is v excited and is going out with her friend in a bit.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Maybe the gym later if the roads clear.

I'm still in bed, DH has just got up to go and make tea and toast, think DD is still asleep, she's had a heavy week.

Undecided today whether or not to go out for fish and chips, or whether to stay at home and do some much needed housework. Want to move the sofas and give the living room a proper clean. Decisions, decisions...

I'm laying in bed either a cup of tea - one dog snoozing with me. The other one pulled her cruciate ligament in December and though seems almost back to normal does not like coming up the stairs!
I've just booked hotel for one university offer holders day and need to book the train, plus there's no getting away from it DD wants to go to the offer holder day in Glasgow too so main job is to book hotel and train for that. Plus find someone to look after the animals. She's not even at uni and it's costing hundreds! Got to work on my Etsy shop too, and of course take the dogs out but it's raining currently...

Good luck at the dentist!! You'll feel relieved once it's done. Good luck with the new medication as well.

It's another wet day here. Feels like it's rained for all of 2024 so far. We're just off for swimming lessons and then I'm going to do a quick food shop / lunch and get some washing done and bath the girls.

DD1 and DD2 are both invited to a party this afternoon so daddy is taking DC1 to the cinema and then out for a burger.

Girls will eat at the party so I think I'll order myself a Pad Thai for dinner.

Am just getting over a horrible cough and cold and only just getting my appetite and energy back so hoping the party won't involve too much parental input 🙃 (it's one if those giant softplay / inflatable affairs!)

I'm up watching tv and just had my tea and toast. Dh and ds still asleep, I love this time of day.
Birds are singing outside and it looks like a dry day, will go somewhere for a walk. I went to lidl yesterday so plenty food in, not sure whats for dinner.

Good morning @lucysmam , I’m another who hates going to the dentist; I find that the anticipation is infinitely worse than the actual experience. I hope everything goes smoothly.
We’ve got 4-5” of unexpected snow here so the dog and I were out early for a lovely walk, she whizzes around doing zoomies, loves the snow. Few people around and lots of pristine snow 😍
Little planed for the day other than doing some art stuff. Soup a crusty bread for lunch, perhaps lemon meringue pie to follow.

An early start today with a dog walk before DDog was picked up by his daycare lady...she will groom him this morning & then he will sleep over tonight as me & DH have a rare night out with friends, going to a gastropub in our nearest city, will be fun although the weather is dire. DS is working his restaurant job tonight so will have a lie in then cram a bit of A level revision in.

Just back from taking DCat to vet for her annual boosters & having my first cup of coffee of the day.

I have a list of very mundane domestic/life admin tasks to work through today...I love a list!

I'm going on holiday! Leaving in the next wee while to go to the Outer Hebrides for a week!

Really looking forward to chilling out and not doing very much. I'm not long finished treatment for breast cancer and I'm still very tired, so I intend to have dh look after me and to sleep a lot.

I love these weekend posts! Although I always feel I should be doing more after reading what everyone else is up to 🤣

I rolled out of bed at 9ish done 10 mins of meditation im now fully awake.
I have no chores to do so a nice relaxing day with a new book and some slow jazz playing.
Do some yoga later and some meditation before bed.
No visitors today.
Staying in PJ all weekend.
Order a nice chinese for tonight.
Bliss.
I love my life.

Here it will be a relaxing home day with the children after a busy week. They will play outside and potter around with painting and colouring and Lego. I'll catch up on a few chores and drink nice coffee. Something easy for lunch and something even easier for tea. Just not sure what yet but probably beans on toast for lunch and oven pizza with vegetable sticks for dinner. We will probably go a walk or bike ride between lunch and dinner time. Gladiators later.

I'm soaking wet. Just volunteered as tail walker at Parkrun so need to dry off and warm up.

Quiet here, aside from some trumpeters earlier (no idea), was just thinking that when I've done house clearance for my mother I'm backing off entirely

I had a lovely lie in, followed by coffee and toast.
Now waiting not very patiently for my shopping to come. In the meantime, I have emptied the dishwasher and put a white wash on for school shirts.
I was meant to be taking my mum out for a walk somewhere, but it's been raining on and off all morning, so who knows!
DH and DS off to football, so fajitas and the Bahrain F1 when they get home.
Hope the tooth isn't too painful @lucysmam 😕
