I think this is in response to the George Galloway win in Rochdale and perhaps people having too much exposure to the Palestine situation and maybe not thinking everyone there is crazy, mad and dangerous… I mean that was the narrative I found was always presented in the media growing up 🤷🏻‍♀️

Very true that we were a multicultural nation even before the empire. We have lots of very Viking place names, just as there are lots of places named after Queen Victoria around the world.
