LINCOLN - What's on, where to go?

Taking a family member out for the day on Friday - walking isn't great but wanted to go somewhere and then get lunch. I thought Garden Centre but she's been to loads, don't want to do shopping. Any suggestions please?

Just got back last week. I started a thread Here.

Steep Hill is as it says...!! Castle and Cathedral are very interesting.
Castle didn't have the Magna Carta on display last week.
You can have a free guided tour of the cathedral includes in the entry fee. You can also pay extra for a trip up to the roof.
Lots of charity shops!!

Mooch round the bailgate shops, cathedral, castle, lunch at the lawn. All nice and close together with nearby parking, so little walking to do and avoids going up or down steep hill.

Oh blimey. Lincoln is lovely but Steep Hill, and Lincoln generally, is not good for anyone who isn't good at walking. It's steep and it's cobbled and the main part is pedestrianised with a long walk to any car park.

@nerdsville makes the best suggestion - but it's still quite a bit of walking to go round the Castle for eg.
