Trying to decide whether to get on win my new kitchen. Do you have one and do you recommend it?

We used to have one at work and it was never really hot enough for good tea, but that was years ago so they may have got better.

Yes, a Quooker that was in the house we bought. I thought they were just a gimmick but it’s brilliant. If you have any kind of shoulder, arm or hand problem, it’s so great not to have to lug a kettle about, too. Highly recommend.

We have a Qettle (Quettle?!), really like it. It does boiling water.

We also have a Quooker tap, boiling only, not the fizzy water one as we wouldn’t use it. We absolutely love it and since installation 3 years ago it hasn’t had any problems at all. I would definitely replace if it failed or we moved. My only minor regret is not getting the one with the spray attachment to make it easier to clean the sink.

I've got a Quettle. Love it.

It also has filtered water and we had a water softener installed as part of a major refurb so we don't get limescale despite being in a very hard water area.

The Quettle goes to 100 degrees so is perfect for hot drinks. And it's a breeze for cooking too. Easy to use and to change filters etc. you can get different size tanks. We've got 7l which is the medium one. Plenty for 2 adults and 1 teen.

I've never had a new kitchen before. And this was a major project. I wanted as much clear worktop as possible, Then tap isn't cost effective, but is a lovely treat that I don't regret.
