Saw this and thought of this thread. There was a report elsewhere (CBA) that the police have said the fines will stand because drivers timings over the covered stretch showed they must have exceeded 40mph for some of it and were therefore speeding over the correct - lower - limit.

Be curious if any driver does get their conviction overturned.

However, given some recent threads, I am fully prepared to read someone posting how upset they were they were turned away from a SAC because they bought their dog(s). So it seemed an apposite comment.

But nobody "has brought a dog", this poster specifically said "When she was on-line". Her dog is in her living room, with her but not with anyone else.

😆 I'm now picturing myself at an in person speed awareness course trying to hide a dog 😂 that would have been quite difficult. My dog isn't the sort of dog you can hide nor would behave himself in in person training 😂He's mostly sausage with a little jack Russell and hates men. No there were lots of rules for the online course which included no animals in the room. I think my dog was poorly or had just been neutered so wasn't able to be at doggy day care. So he was under my arm for the duration bribed with treats. Then you had to write things on paper and hold them up to the screen. Which was a challenge without revealing the dog 🐕

Ok you got me it was in person but he was very good boy and helped me take notes. Everyone was too focused on the instructor to notice him
