Cost of living payment

Hi. Has anyone not recieved there cost of living payment as of yet? I got the text but I have not recieved my payment as yet and my friends have.

Yes I am. Just migrated over to UC on the 5th of January 2024. Was on Tax credits previously.

I want to know who decided it should be 299. I'm not complaining, cuz it's very useful. Why not just make it 300?

Had no idea these payments were still going, so googled it and I see that there were 3, totalling £900. Is that right?

Anyway, I can see one was £301, and the others £300 and £299. Maybe making each a slightly different amount makes it easier to track payment/non-payment rather than if they were all the same?

I don't see why they can't increase the benefit payments. Its not like the cost of living is going to decrease ever is it.

The first one last year I got on the 2nd day, the second one last year I got on the 1st day and this one I’ve not yet had and everyone around me who is entitled to it seems to have had theirs.

im also on UC.

Mine has just gone in! Thank god for that.

my dd turns 13 on Wednesday ( Valentine’s Day ) and I still need to get her cake and bits and bobs.

hope everyone waiting has theirs too.

I'm on UC and it says you get it between 6th and 22nd but my text said 16th-22nd. Still not arrived so I've had to borrow money.

@Notaboutthebass those are the same dates I was told via text. I've just received mine now (10 mins ago) Maybe you should check yours to see if you've got yours too.
