Does anyone have any opinion on why Kanye West keeps taking his wife out places naked?

I don’t believe it’s her idea. He has often declared the women he has dated and married as his ‘muse’, so my assumption will be that he is behind it.

It’s bothering me on so many levels. There’s the worry it is part of an abusive/coercive relationship that’s just happening in plain sight. Because he is wealthy then it is fine, whereas the truth might be she needs help.

There’s the worry from a feminist angle that he might be trying to prove that all women are no better than prostitutes. He seemed to be furious when his ex wife dressed provocatively and yet us happy for his new wife to be constantly naked or partially clothed wearing sex clothes.

Then there’s the racial thoughts that I have. Would he be doing this to a an American black woman and get no negative commentary? I honestly don’t think so. I think they’d be a huge backlash if he was walking around with a black woman in gimp masks and naked under rain macs. It’s interesting to me that the women he likes to humiliate are light skinned. He calls them ‘cream of wheat’. Again is part of the thrill the humiliation? I don’t know. But every time I see another set of photos of him completely covered from head to toe and her naked it makes me feel very uneasy.

Same here. ADHD and ASD though is very different to bipolar. My mum had bipolar and didn't take her meds and could be very sexually spontaneous would be a way of describing it. Doing stuff which she wouldn't have done if she was well/taking her meds.

I think it's interesting that this woman is apparently just "an adult with agency" but any other woman who is clearly being abused is treated as that, a woman who has limited agency due to the control and abuse of their partner.

I like gawping at vacuous slebs and their fashions occasionally. Makes a change from thinking about dead children in Gaza.

Sinead o connor ripped up a picture of the pope on tv one evening then years later having had kids with different dads decides shes a lesbian, then she became a priest and all while having a singing career. Yes ok she actually did have mental health issues but I think he is just a prick honestly.

Compare her to Miley Cyrus who is overtly sexual, quipping about wearing no knickers at the Grammys. That's a woman who seems in control, enjoying the exhibitionism, taking charge of her own public image and liking to cause a bit of controversy. Kanye's wife doesn't have that dignity and composure at all. I'm not a massive fan of Miley but she absolutely appears to have agency and autonomy. I think we can see the difference between a woman making a splash with risque outfits and behaviour vs this odd and unsettling parade.

I used to be a massive Kanye fan when I was younger (even went to see him in concert) he's very talented but has a lot of mental issues. Kind of stopped being a fan when he got with Kim K as his music went downhill. What worries me is how his wife dresses will be making an impression upon his daughters.

I have no idea who his wife was before she was with him so don't know how she used to dress but if he is controlling how she dresses I'd be worried that his daughters think this is completely normal behaviour. I know thats rich considering how their mother got famous but I feel like she has toned it down since becoming a mother.

It’s absolutely a coercive relationship, he doesn’t love or respect her (as he absolutely did love Kim and didn’t like her dressing provocatively or showing too much skin as he said it’s not appropriate for a married woman) he’s using Bianca as a prop for publicity and to get Kim’s attention and it’s abusive. It’s actually sickening that this is playing out in public, he’s mentally very unwell and needs an intervention.

Maybe she's a willing participant - why is it assumed that she's being coerced into this attention-seeking behaviour and she's a victim?

I'm reminded of all the assumptions about Melania Trump who was often viewed as a victim of Trump, and the minute he was out of office she'd be gone. But there she is loyally by his side ready for another stint as First Lady.

I think that film is predicting the future very successfully....

Her poor parents. The joy when your daughter decides to become an Architect followed by the horror of her paraded around like a naked doll. The contrast between her life pre Kanye and post Kanye is massive.

He’s obviously mental unwell. And I personally do not understand why anyone would want to be married to him. Although “money and fame” probably are some of the key reasons…

As for your questions about him being covered (from head to toe) and her being practically naked:

The objectification of the female body nothing new. It’s also incredibly common in the music and film industry and many women do participate enthusiastically.

I don’t think the outcry would be worse if she was African American btw, not at all.

I do hope that his wife is one of the enthusiastic participants, btw. It would be terrible if she wasn’t, especially if she wasn’t able to protect herself due to mental health issue, coercion etc. But we don’t know what’s going on, so that’s ultimately nothing but speculation.

I really believe this is true - I think this is why so many leaders come across as so unstable. They start to loose the shackles and constraints of society and everyone nods along.

He does it because he's a controlling nasty knob.

She is loving the attention and the rewards of being married to a very rich man. She is probably astute and playing the long game of being married to him for a decent amount of time before pulling the plug and getting a divorce and playing the victim card saying he made her dress that way to humiliate her.

When it's all done and dusted she will be a wealthy woman without having to 'entertain' that douchebag of a husband every night.

Bianca does not look happy in any photo I’ve seen, and he is quite frankly scary. Hopefully at some point she’ll get help to claim her life and soul back. Who knows what he will do to her before then .

She’s humiliating herself now. She could have already cut ties and launched her career. She has an amazing body and I’m sure she can be famous for being famous like KK.
