Name fashion - guess my age

We all know certain names date people to certain decades.

So I wondered, in the spirit of retro names etc, if you can guess my age by my grandparents’ names.

They were called:

Aha! One of my grandparents was called Joseph and I had a great aunt Dot ...... given the game away for my age but my grandparents were

I’m 70. The Irish connection probably confused things a bit. All my grandparents were born in the 1880s, my parents were born between 1910 and 1920, and they were older parents themselves, because the war got in the way. I and my brothers were born in the late 1940s/1950s.

Not quite! But I do have an early photograph of Thomas and Catherine in a pony trap, looking very Hardyesque.
