What was the band or group that made Ur teenage years the best? Mine was Take That.🤣🤣🤣, they were my whole life for about 3 years. I still giggle when I hear one of they're songs!!🤭🤭🤭

Guns n roses

I would love to see Slash’s reaction when you accused him of being in a boyband. You might find a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop inserted somewhere painful!

NKOTB for life.

Still holding out hope that I'll marry Joey McIntyre. Might be a surprise to DH though.

Also, Evan Dando from The Lemonheads.

I was an eclectic teenager!

OMG Evan Dando was fit as. He's aged very well.

NKOTB were awesome.

And Bros. Luke was my favourite

Dont think we had boy bands in the 60s 😅

I think The Monkees might have been the nearest equivalent to a Boy Band then.
Fairly manufactured but talented nonetheless, although not as pretty as the ones in the 80s and 90s except the token Brit, Davy Jones.
I think The Osmonds and then The Bay City Rollers were perhaps the first younger looking, fresh-faced bands to appeal to mid-teens and below.
The Beatles, The Stones, The Who were all massive of course but came together as musicians first before finding fame (although the Beatles were groomed for success by Brian Epstein). The Stones, and The Who in particular with the pent-up violence and on-stage fights, had many male fans too, and of course still do.
I saw the Stones live at the Romford Odeon twice in the sixties. They headlined a touring rock show that included Ike and Tina Turner, the Yardbirds and Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders.

Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Lloyd Cole & The Commotions, Blue Oyster Cult. So many more too.
