Good Morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just finishing my first cuppa of the day & am thinking about making myself a fancy coffee. The girls are still sleeping atm so it's nice and quiet down here, apart from the washer for the towels.

My plan for the day is make a cottage pie for tea, wash the second load of towels, painting peg people and an hour at some more tassels for my Eras Tour jacket.

Dd1 has homework to finish off so she'll do that and then probably find something to do with friends.

And I've said I'll look at dd2's maths homework with her. She has a few questions she's struggling with.

After tea, I fancy a bath with one of my new bathbombs, & I'll take my book in with me 😊probably take a glass of wine too.

Early nights all round ready for the coming week💤

Good afternoon all from me, too!

I've not slept, I keep looking at the clock and thinking, really??? Only 3, 5, 9, 11, 1, 2 o'clock. I'm sooooo bored! Bah! And it's only creeping to 3pm now 😡

I've got some craft bits to do but I can't be bothered tbh. I put on 'After The Flood' to watch, geez, thats dire imo. Next weekend will be better!

I'm having a massive bedroom clear out, which is cathartic. I was meant to go the local gym/spa but all the places this afternoon are booked up so I'm a bit pissed off tbh. I'll just have to have a very long bubble bath instead later on......

I'm training for a half marathon so 10k run this morning.
Was contemplating the cinema or a museum but am currently on the sofa watching Reacher season 2. Roast is in the oven.
May pop to the pub later for a drink.

Good ‘morning’ everyone.

We’ve had our usual character pancakes, today we had tractor shapes. We’ve actually been busy today, we went to see Papa, we’ve done the food shop, been swimming and been on a dog walk. The Lidl here has a house plant ‘event’ so I bought two, that probably puts us at about 40, so I’ll hide them in with another so they’re less noticable, that way I won’t be told off for buying more.

This evening we’re going to make cornflake cakes and eat them while we watch Homeward Bound.

DD has gone off to work for the day.

We are go swimming soon.

Had a roast pork Sunday lunch and DH cooked us a lovely cake which am just having with a cup of tea.

Also brought in the new IKEA cabinet from the car, well DH did and I was on entertaining Floof mission to stop him getting in the way. Mission successful.

DS is just gaming and eating Sunday lunch and cake.

@MrsFloof I imagine Floof is very good at getting in the way 🤣

I've just lit my crackly candle & am enjoying a glass of wine, while dd2 showers and tea re-heats.

Didn't get to my tassels yet - did maths homework though badly, and offered to re-read ch2 of Frankenstein to help dd1 with her homework 🙈 Still have a little bit of sewing to be done too, I'll do that once I sit down.
