Caving. Went into Wooky Hole many years ago. Was very scared.
Black Pudding.
Tripe.

BarrelOfOtters · 15/01/2024 13:25

I think the only thing I really wouldn't try is tattoos or fillers.

Black Pudding.

Clonakilty black pudding, grilled with a bit of garlic mayonnaise is delicious.

Rosecoffeecup · 15/01/2024 13:34

Skiing

Redlarge · 15/01/2024 13:44

God, I think I've tried every one of these dislikes. I also didn't like skiing.

Redlarge · 15/01/2024 13:45

Ergh yeah climbing a snowy moutain. No fun at all. Marathons too.

This thread is like a competition of who can be the most stereotypically miserable…

‘state schools’ 😂

I know yeah ha ha.
I take your state schools and raise you 'the velvetiser'.

emilysquest · 15/01/2024 14:11

I have done a few of the things mentioned on here just in the last few days! Not telling which though! (None involved travel...)😉

I've never heard of a velvetiser, but googled. I'm guessing they've been around for decades?

😁

PauaPuffGirl · 15/01/2024 14:30

Agree with Dubai and Las Vegas

I'm glad so many people have said sushi because that means more for me

Tbh there's not much I won't try once, maybe not skiing though

JanuaryJunipers · 15/01/2024 17:32

Definitely, definitely tripe.

Alconleigh · 15/01/2024 18:20

LoobyDop · 15/01/2024 18:54

Dubai, Las Vegas- anywhere that’s just skyscrapers with no history holds no interest for me.
If I had unlimited money and time off work I’d be happy to try skiing, but I wouldn’t ever sacrifice a different holiday for it.
There are lots of unpleasant or weird sex things I’m fine with missing out on.
There are some particularly stinky cheeses I struggle to sit near, so wouldn’t eat them.
I don’t need to experience immersive theatre to know that it would be cringingly embarrassing.

Expressing a controversial opinion on Mumsnet!

Having my nails done. Shudder. I think it's a sensory thing. The very thought ...

Massages. Same reason as above😆

Love having my nails done , massages NO 🤢
