My DNA test for me says that i have Persian dna. And a couple of other improbable things. I have verified my entire family tree back to 1349.... no sign of improbable dna. But it is a human race...

A dogs dna test is equally unreliable. There is evidence of some current breeds having dna from wolf species extinct for thousands of years.
