Of course! That’s the joy of this thread, as others have said. I liked the poster who said she was gobsmacked by a girl her daughter thought ordinary. Personally having never been a fan of this man I found being mesmerised by him as a septuagenarian explained Beatlemania to me because I could well imagine how he’d been entrancing when young.

Cillian Murphy. His eyes are the iciest blue, like looking through the sea over an iceberg. He is other worldly.

I’ve met a lot celebs in my line of work - but Lily James I had always thought of as stunning, but IRL she was very plain. I think she must be one of those people that come alive in front of a lense.

@CrebillionFils Marilyn Monroe was the same apparently. I remember reading an article years ago where a director of one of her movies was absolutely stressed because he thought she was doing really poor acting in her scenes.
When he watched the rushes afterwards, he said it was like he was watching a totally different person, she was mesmerising.

There are so many famous people who are attractive due to their clothes, hair and make up. Most people would look the same if they were given a makeover etc. Daisy from Coronation Street is a typical example. Loads of make up with hair extensions that are always perfect. Sorry to Daisy and the poster who mentioned her. I’ve just mentioned the character as an example. Michelle Keegan is another person off the top of my head. She’s pretty now she’s had work done but not beautiful and definitely not natural.
Genuine natural beauty is not fillers, implants and extensions.
There’s a huge difference between an attractive package and pure beauty.
Natural beauties I can think of are Kate Moss, Angelina Joliet, Anna Kournakova, Halle Berry, Lily James, Cindy Crawford, Penelope Cruz, Jenna Coleman, Olivia Newton John, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Beckinsdale, Liv Tyler and Catherine Zeta Jones
Unfortunately I’ve not met any of them irl.

In real life, my 50ish year old neighbour. She’s blonde, cheekbones to die for, tall, so striking. It’s hard not to study her face when she’s talking to you.

Also Gaspard Ulliel. Another person very sadly no longer with us, but remarkably beautiful I thought.

When it comes to celebs I don’t know because so many have had surgery and procedures that i can no longer say who is naturally beautiful . So for me it’s old school people that haven’t had fillers, facelifts, Botox, eyelid surgery, nose jobs etc. vivien Leigh, Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Omar Sharif.

problem is catherine zeta was beautiful but has had fillers done which take the edge off now

i just cant get fillers-some of these women are beautiful but ruin it with botox and other crap i just dont understand

In real life, my cousin when we were teens/early 20s. He was so unbelievably gorgeous. 6ft4, blond, gloriously blue eyes, cheekbones like razor blades. Everywhere we went, girls literally flicked round him. They wouldn't leave him alone, it was embarrassing.

Famous folk, there are so many. Sophia Loren was like a work of art. Angelina Jolie is so beautiful she shouldn't be real. Young Jonny Depp was just perfect, so was young Elvis and there are not many men who could rival 1980s Seb Bach but, I think, Jensen Ackles wins. Although, at the minute, I can't stop looking at Dan Vasc who is a Brazilian YouTube singer 😳 who is the same age as my oldest son (double blush)

I agree except take a look at him before he had his teeth fixed - you might want to say any age after Remington Steele. He was very good looking before that but the teeth made a difference.

I love this thread but was strikes me is the difference between beauty and attraction. I think Ed Norton is the sexiest man I've ever seen on the screen but I know he isn't beautiful. I can see how Timothee Chalamet has a beautiful face but he seems so generally tiny I can't find him attractive.

I loved Daniel Day Lewis back in his heyday.
