Local Supermarket. Except being slightly more organised for work it would matter very little. It is not the cheapest of places in the town and carries random stock but is open before work and the staff are all lovely.

Lidl, so I'd go to the nearer one. We stopped on the way back from Hell Christmas shopping in Newcastle.

Oh, actually it wasn't Waitrose. It was the Post Office!

MarkWithaC · 04/12/2023 17:37

My very lovely local indie greengrocer.
I'm screwed for good avocados, posh crisps perpetually on special offer, a wide range of Tony's chocolate and a particular soft cheese I've acquired a serious taste for. Not to mention a warm welcome every time, and excellent chat/banter/neighbourhood gossip. And it's a few minutes' walk from home.
On the upside, I'll certainly save money; they're not cheap.

Build-a-Bear which is fine as I didn't buy anything there and don't live in a town with one.
