Aldi. Although there is another Aldi same distance in opposite direction. Can I go there ?

MrsMoastyToasty · 04/12/2023 13:16

M and S.

Awkward! DH works for them.

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 04/12/2023 13:16

Chatworth Estate Farm Shop. I suspect I will survive, although obtaining organic asparagus and Premium Mince Pies is going to be a struggle...

Tescos petrol station

evtheria · 04/12/2023 13:26

Poundland

Which is annoying as that's where I prefer to buy my baking paper and tinfoil from.

x2boys · 04/12/2023 13:31

The chemist which might make things awkward as they are the named chemist for both my dh,and son who are both Diabetic🤔

B&M. Fair fucks, it’s full of shit.

Full of shit you didn't know of needed until you go in though

Alconleigh · 04/12/2023 13:38

B&M

rainbowsparkle28 · 04/12/2023 13:39

The Co-op petrol station 😂

KimberleyClark · 04/12/2023 13:41

The co op.

Allmarbleslost · 04/12/2023 13:43

Co-op. A real pain because it's the only shop in walking distance!

LivingNextDoorToNorma · 04/12/2023 13:50

Smyths toy shop. The experience was similar to how I imagine hell to be, so I’d be thrilled to never have to set foot in the place again 😂

stayathomer · 04/12/2023 13:51

Aldi. (Nooooooo!!!!!)

readingmakesmehappy · 04/12/2023 13:58

Lidl

A small outdoor coffee pop-up Grin

DisforDarkChocolate · 04/12/2023 14:01

Waitrose!!

I'd be so sad, we're thinking of moving and the thought of not being in walking distance makes me so sad. I think I may be turning a little bit 'Hyacinth Bucket'.

Nonentity2023 · 04/12/2023 14:28

Superdrug, at 8am before I went to work. There were boxes all over the aisles with goods waiting to go on shelves, it was carnage I tell you!

Thankfully I only go into a physical shop on a rare occasion. My physical appearance will have changed drastically by the next time I go, so they won’t actually remember they’ve (hypothetically!) banned me.

FreshWinterMorning · 03/12/2023 23:37

Did I say Harrods, I mean Lidl. Grin

😄

mrswhiplington · 04/12/2023 15:06

Aldi

Fairylightfurore · 04/12/2023 10:49

Peacocks. No great loss

I miss our Peacocks.

Co-op for me too.

ifonly4 · 04/12/2023 15:25

Tescos. It's right next to work and within walking distance - other than Lidl, it'd be a 15 minute drive anywhere else, which would be a real pain.

Bettiespaghetti · 04/12/2023 15:45

Ugh. Netto. It's crap (even more budget than Aldi) but it's the closest supermarket. I'd have to walk to Rewe which is the other side of the village, although I suppose it is more upmarket!
