Just had a load of blood tests results and all showing abnormal!!

I think this is wrong, if I show you the results can anyone help? Not good news on a Friday when doctors are now closed 😞

I had bloods taken last Monday, routine due to meds. I got a text on Tuesday to say Tests abnormal and to make an appt with my gp, within three weeks.
I was concerned but reckoned if it was really serious they would have rang me. I was due a telephone appointment on the Friday about something else so the receptionist made a note asking my gp to discuss the bloods at the same time. He was ok with that. It was to tweak one of my meds dosage upwards to reduce my risk of a stroke, something called a Q risk .

But its not saying they're all abnormal. Just (at least) one of them is

It shouldn’t say that, it should only say it on the one that is actually abnormal, the others actually should just say normal

Exactly PP, it's never listed them all as abnormal before, either satisfactory, borderline or abnormal. It should not list each one as abnormal, as that's incorrect xx

As it clearly says Result abnormal, not Results* OP you’re worrying unnecessarily. If it had been urgent the surgery would have phoned you (as has happened to me several times)
Just make an appointment to discuss the results.

Yep in therapy.

I definitely don't eat much red meat, maybe spag Bol every now and again. My diet is good, no iron overloads, I rarely drink and I exercise. So the high cholesterol and high iron is kind of confusing.

The results were posted individually, as 8 individual blood test results, so it wouldn't have said results would it. It was not clear.

It only says that so you will see it and make an appointment with your doctor. It just means there are abnormalities within that set of results.
