I hate Peppa Pig. Hate her guts. If ever there was a pig that deserved to be a bacon sandwich it's that bossy, whining, spoilt little brat. I hate her idiot brother, I hate her useless parents and I hate how much my daughter is besotted with this god forsaken show.

So anyway, what about you? Which of your children's favourites have you questioning whether day drinking is all that bad? 🍷🍹🍸

Beeeee best friends foreverrrrr 👊🏻👊🏻

Agree i hate bing!

Also DD has discovered get well soon which has some of the most annoying songs known to man but I let it slide for the educational content.

Bing! It's not a Bing thing, he's a little tw*t! My favourite episode is when Pando kicks him on the swing 😂😂

Cocomelon is a form of adult torture and now there's cocomelon lane!!!!! 🤬🤬

Also the Wiggles! They must be on drugs! They're absolutely bonkers!

Moonwatcher1234 · 27/11/2023 20:53

I love bing - sorry. He has such a cosy world and I wish flop was my dad. Topsy and Tim is/was the worst ever - it was the adults over-acting that made it such a hard watch.

I’m with you OP Peppa pig can do one….. I once launched the peppa pig toy my daughter had through an open loft hatch and said she’d gone on holiday…. I bought her another toy to compensate her that didn’t effect my sanity.

Haha the nurses song drives me insane, shes there marching on the spot, I think she properly hates her job

It nearly always seems to be Peppa Pig that is played loudly on ipads on public transport and in cafes. Is there something about Peppa Pig and a connection with children who refuse to wear headphones?

Can't stand Blue's Clues myself. Or Ben 10.

In The Night Garden on the other hand is the mutt's nutts.

TakemedowntoPotatoCity · 27/11/2023 20:56

I've heard great things about Bluey, pity it arrived too late for DD so I've never seen it.

Terrible memories of Balamory, Me Too, Numberjacks, Baby Jake and others I can't remember much now. Never found Peppa too bad.

I don’t know why but your use of “terrible memories” has me in stitches. I’m imaging you looking into the distance telling your young ones in a hushed voice of the horrors you have witnessed and lived to tell the tale - maybe whilst whispering the pc plum take on a western “I’m pc plum…and I found your doggy”

NectarinesAreNotTheOnlyFruit · 27/11/2023 21:13

I loved Peppa.

I sometimes watch it when the children are at school. One of them is doing his A levels, so it's been a while since they were interested...

I banned my daughter from watching these annoying little YouTube brats called Diana and Roma. So materialistic and my daughter was acting bratty and copying their behaviour. We blocked all their videos from our YouTube kids account and told her they aren't allowed on YouTube anymore and daughters behaviour improved immediately

Jewelspun · 28/11/2023 08:54

My son was born in 1995. He loved Barney.

Furchester blimmin Hotel. It's too loud and crazy and chaotic!

dullandgrey · 28/11/2023 08:58

Blippi, can't stand it!

Edited

I agree I like the cosy world and aspire to the zen-ness of Flop or to the inventiveness of Amma. My DD loves Bing because it’s so familiar and unthreatening, she doesn’t really “get” Bluey yet.

ThreeRingCircus · 28/11/2023 09:17

Peter Rabbit. He is such a little thieving shit.

What's that other programme, gosh I can't remember it now. But it was so twee, all sitting round in a circle singing every babies name. The baby club?

The baby club, the baby club yeaaaaah, the baby club.
see also, the toddler club 🤣

I have to say the thing I find the most annoying is the bloody presenters on CBeebies. There’s one youngish woman with long brown hair (not the pregnant one) who over-sings everything. She’s out there singing about space like she’s a pin up girl in the wartime 😂

Prinnny · 28/11/2023 18:50

Ben and Hollys little kingdom is gods tier fyi!

BusySittingDown · 28/11/2023 18:53

Mine are teens now and don't really watch anything that I wouldn't watch myself but a few years ago DD2 used to have Sam and Cat, Victorious and iCarly on constantly. The most irritating, stupid programmes in the world!

BusySittingDown · 28/11/2023 18:54

I absolutely loved Peppa Pig and Ben and Holly though. I actually miss them.

Charlie and Lola was brilliant too.
