I can’t see a thread from LucysMam today so thought I would start one. Hope everyone’s having a good Sat so far.
I worked 10 til 2 - so busy! We’re selling loads of Christmas stuff plus there’s a sale on some Halloween products & I sold loads of decorating materials too. Really want to redecorate our whole house! Popped to Tescos after work for a few bits then home for a late lunch & finished loading the dishwasher. DH & I are off to a show tonight. We were going to eat out first but decided to save that for another time & grab Burger King instead then a drink at Wetherspoons which is just opposite the theatre.

Floof also loved the smell of the brie and grape toastie Rabbits and tried to put his head as close as he could to the sandwich toaster. Nearly had a toasted Floof 🙀

Good luck with that Lists Was DD's 18th recently and quite relieved when she said she wouldn't be having a party at our house.

All in recovery on first day of half-term; teacher and SEN DC. Decompressing in Oodies all day and getting stuff done in the house which I never have time for in term time, one of those 'go nowhere empty-handed' days. Did a few jobs for grandparents and enjoyed a lovely evening meal. Fell asleep on DP in front of old episode of X-Files so am now settling down to do some prep for next term. Urgh.

Currently have 3 DSs shouting and laughing at each other while gaming together with some friends online - one in the garage, one upstairs and one in the study downstairs! Kind of cute when they do this as they normally just grunt at each other (teen and young adults) but just about to tell them to shut the hell up.

DD has just got in from her weekend job (saving for house deposit), told me about her date last night and has gone for a shower.

DH called me from abroad just before that to tell me he got there OK - gone to visit family for the week. Couldn’t get the DS’s to go with him unfortunately! Spent this afternoon ferrying him to the airport.

I’m just about to finish the bottle of red wine we started a few days ago, get into bed and watch some TikToks. Looking forward to having the bed to myself and no steam train snoring next to me for a few days!

nearly everyone gone home now just gone down to survey the damage.. they've put all bottles and cans in recycling bin amd over flow in a couple of buckets and swept the floors, rubbish in sacks. dishwasher running ... its not perfect but it's actually pretty amazing given I was expecting a disaster zone. Honestly I'd not anticipated any tidying whatsoever before tomorrow morning when dd and I just planned to go for it together

Sunday today. I have just had breakfast in bed courtesy of my DH. In a few minutes I will do my shoulder exercises, then I will sort out some washing. In 3 hours we will go to the hospital to have a nice roast lunch in their restaurant, before my appointment at 1.00. We might go to the beach after that to look at the sea - I expect there will be some brave kite surfers out today. No cooking necessary this evening as we will already have had a good meal, so a lazy evening.
