I can finally say I have a DH!!!

We got married on Friday the 13th!!!! That's it really. We are so happy! It rained and rained but brightened up near the end. Register office wedding with 18 people, then off to the local pub for a meal and drinks with about 35 people in total! I was worried I'd wish I'd done it bigger but it was perfect for us! I couldn't have managed anything else & it was all done very cheaply and DIY'd! The only thing I regret is me and my DH (omg I can say DH lol) didn't take ANY selfies together!!! We didn't have a photographer but our guests took some amazing photos of us but me and him didn't take any selfies together (we take selfies everywhere we go) - it just slipped our minds!!!! Oh well, cheers 🥂 ❤️

We saw a lovely Just Married couple on Friday.. She was wearing a floral dress and wellies.. She looked absolutely beautiful! Wish I had looked half as happy on my big day!

If you're on Reddit, there's a sub there where people will do photoshop touch ups for your pics if you want to fancy them up a bit - like maybe crop and remove the sign on the door, do a focus on confetti type thing. I think it's called r/photoshoprequest, worth a look if you (like me) have a photo you'd love to frame if it wasn't for an annoying exit sign!

My Mum told me that when she and my Dad married their budget was so tight she bought a three quarter length white cocktail dress so she could die it black to use as an evening dress and the 'do' was a few drinks and sandwiches in their local, the bill for catering came to £16 and a few shillings and pence, they were together for the next 37 years till my Dad passed.
